Join us December 25th from 10:00am - 3pm. Cost is $99 per person plus tax and service fee and $49 per child ages 12 and under, plus tax and service fee. Cancellation Policy: No cancellation within 48 hours of reservation, cancellation fee of $50 would be required.

Featuring a local distillery from Matthews North Carolina, The story of Oaklore Distillery is one of friendship and community. Back in 2016 neighbors Matt and Tom, while walking their elementary kids to the bus stop, discovered a shared passion for a well-crafted whiskey. This passion quickly blossomed into a shared hobby. Fueled by this passion, Matt and Tom dedicated themselves to mastering their craft. With time, their dedication paid off, leading them to enlist the support of their close friend Travis Pricing per person $90 (plus tax and 24% service charge) There is no cancellation fee if cancelled 48 hours ahead of reservation time. Irish whiskey has a long history, with the earliest written record of the drink dating back to 1405: Early history The practice of distilling spirits in Ireland likely began in the 12th century during the Norman invasion. However, the whiskey produced at the time was different from what we know today, as it was often flavored with herbs and was not aged. We normally celebrate Mother’s Day at Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC - however we thought we would try Ballantyne Hotel since we reside close by. The food selections to go with the meat were all veggies/rice/small potatoes - however no Mac n Cheese or a Soufflé-overkill on salad bar veggies and hot veggies-the deserts were all parfaits. For the price you pay - should receive better portions and better overall options of food!

The experience used to be really great, but the last two times we’ve eaten at a ballroom experience were very subpar. The food for the Easter buffet wasn’t good, the only exceptions were the omelet and crepes stations. I used to look forward to this as a way to have a nice buffet experience with the family. For an incredibly expensive meal, I’d expect a lot more selections, better tasting food, and it to be cooked correctly. This was incredibly disappointing.
