If you're going to take your name from a badass like the patron saint of blacksmiths, you better be able to back it up. Baldamar marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak. It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute. At the bar sits every spirit imaginable, and someone who isn’t afraid to use them. This is more than a new steakhouse. It’s a line in the sand. It’s not just where you celebrate special occasions. It’s where you create them.

    Baldamar always nails it! There isn't a bad item on their menu. Their filet is always cooked to perfection and their specials are always unique and well prepared. Their staff never disappoints either. Whenever there is a life event in my family everyone wants to celebrate at Bladamar... especially when I'm paying.

    Had a wonderful Sunday Brunch experience at Baldamar in Roseville this past week-end. The food selection was wonderful, highlighted by the attractive atmosphere and super wait person. I was also super excited to find out that they are not part of a chain but are rather a family owned restaurant. Although pricing seemed a bit high I found it was really comparable to other highly regarded Brunch offerings in the Twin Cities. I'm already planning a few other occasions when I can bring other family members in as well as returning for Brunch or dinner for my birthday.

    The brunch buffet had tons of options and all of them were great! The service was also fantastic, and we've already recommended it to our friends!

    While visiting Minneapolis we enjoyed this restaurant twice because it was so great! Phil went above and beyond both times (highly recommend that server). Our first visit we stumbled upon the happy hour specials for $5 beer and a delicious burger and Barria tacos - yum! Our second visit we ordered what they are known for - the steak and fixings. Everything from the bread (with the insanely delicious jalepeno honey butter), the filet minion, potatoe and brussel spouts were out of this world good! Highly recommend!

    Love Baldamar! Great vibe, service is very attentive, and the food is some of the very best in the Twin Cities. Have visited twice and can’t wait to go back!

    This place is a winner! Great ambience, great service, great food, decent value.... My only complaint is the noise level. But, it didn't cause an uncomfortable situation.

    This is truly the best steakhouse in the twin cities. Michael, one of the managers, takes great care of us. Shawn was our waiter. Outstanding!

    One of my very favorites! Love everything about dining here. Service is always stellar! It seems prices have gone up and bang for the buck has diminished somewhat. I ordered chicken wings for an appetizer and as delicious as they were, I've never seen such tiny wings! You get 7 for $19. At almost $3 a wing, I feel that is pricy for the portion size. Their short Rib & Chorizo Nachos are nothing short of spectacular, worth every bite! We also had the prime rib sandwich and the Wagouda Burger. At $28 a piece, definitely a better value than wings! My guests enjoyed them, and they looked amazing! This is still in my top 5 places to go. Instead of wings, I will stick with the Nachos!!
