If you're going to take your name from a badass like the patron saint of blacksmiths, you better be able to back it up. Baldamar marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak. It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute. At the bar sits every spirit imaginable, and someone who isn’t afraid to use them. This is more than a new steakhouse. It’s a line in the sand. It’s not just where you celebrate special occasions. It’s where you create them.

    If you’re missing a dining experience in New York City, try Baldamar. It’s so fabulous. The food, the server, April, the drinks, the desserts! We’ve been feasting here since it opened in 2019, thru covid and now. Ask for Michael. He’s the best

    I have eaten there over a dozen times and its always solid. The steaks are done to perfection, and the service is always top notch.

    Our waitress, Amanda, was superb! She was very polite and cheerful. She attended to all of our needs and was a wealth of information regarding the menu.

    We dined the Sunday all day Happy Hour. Definitely need a reservation as place was extremely busy. Had hamburger, chicken sandwich and fries and very good. Also had the special drink of month old fashion and Manhattan and it was a generous pour. Our server was knowledgeable and prompt so we were very satisfied with service and he was very busy. Bought the gift card special and it was an excellent deal.

    Came in for dinner with a reservation to celebrate business achievement. The entire experience, ambiance, cleanliness, presentation and food was stellar. All our servers and hosts showed attentiveness and friendliness, especially Kylie, who was genuine and professional from beginning to end. Did I mention the food was delicious!? Definitely coming back.

    Excellent restaurant, you get what you pay for. I am not a huge steak person, I’ve spent big bucks at premium restaurants on steaks and never felt the money was worth it…the steak I had here though was actually worth the money, it was just excellent. Everything we had was great. One minor thing was the somewhat tight table spacing with others eating just close enough that it felt a little awkward. But that’s being super critical 😊👍

    Best steakhouse experience we’ve had in the Twin Cities. To begin with, we started with the best oysters we’ve had in ages. Perfectly shucked with no shell fragments. Our steaks were exceptionally tasty and cooked to perfection. The prime cut is worth the price. The grilled artichoke was the perfect side. And the wines paired so well. Kudos to our server for bringing it all together so well. We’ll be back soon.
