Serving up authentic, Mexican street fare, and a selection of over 100 tequilas and American whiskeys. Bakersfield is a spot where the food is simple, the service is warm and the atmosphere is alive.

We do offer a heated outdoor dining experience during the winter months. These tables are located in a covered and enclosed tent with heaters spread throughout. We recommend dressing warmly if the temperatures outside are below 40 degrees.

Cochinita pibil was too spicy, original Yucatán recipe with achiote is not spicy, if you want heat pickled habanero is served on the side. Pickled onions on carnitas? No. On the side? Yes. Short rib queso was good. I would call it dip, not queso. Tacos were great, margaritas awesome and the milanesa torta was exceptional.

We have a great time every time we come. The short rib queso and shrimp tacos along with the pineapple margaritas is delicious.

This is one of my favorite restaurant. My husband and I were very disappointed with the menu change. The tacos were very slim compared to the many other times I have dined here. We generally order 3 tacos a piece. I ordered the fish tacos and the piece of fish was extremely tiny compared to what I have normally received. For the first time ever, we left still hungry. Unfortunately I will be taking this place off of favorite list 😞
