Depuis 1917, la famille Bahrs sert des fruits de mer frais, des gros homards et des steaks de choix à des convives heureux de partout dans le monde. On y célèbre l'Oktoberfest de septembre jusqu'à novembre. Situé à l'entrée de Sandy Hook National Seashore, le Bahrs Landing dispose de 37 baies vitrées avec vue sur la rivière Shrewsbury et l'océan Atlantique. En plus, on peut souper sur la terrasse. Un des véritables établissements emblématiques de la côte du New Jersey, il est vraiment l'expérience de fruits de mer à vivre. It was an unexpected surprise when we found out the Oktoberfest menu was available. We had the sample platter for 2, and it was outstanding! It really made our evening.

I have been visiting Bahr’s Landing Restaurant for 40 years. Bahr’s always delivers a consistent dining experience. It is very neat and clean with white linens on the tables, polished wood floors, nautical themed ambiance, and large windows with terrific water and marina views. All of our dinner selections were very, very good, especially the chowders. Restaurant prices have soared over the past couple of years and Bahr’s is no exception, but at least the quality and quantity of the servings have stayed consistently on point. Bahr’s still delivers a family friendly dining experience at reasonable prices. Our server, Mauro, was wonderful. He was attentive without being annoying; very friendly and welcoming. I will be sure to request his service for my next visit. Bahr’s Landing Restaurant for the win - every time!

Ordered a 3 pound steamed lobster. It was undercooked. Service was bad. No lobster utensils or bib. Had to get it ourselves.

Very disappointed with the food. We expected it to be better. Unfortunately, we felt it was comparable to an overpriced Red Lobster. My wife and I both got sick with our meal. When we mentioned it to the manager after we paid the bill the manager was defensive. She said that the fish is always delivered fresh. We were not questioning the fish but the preparation was what made us ill. Btw, we were not looking for a refund or a gift card but just to advise how our meal made us feel. I will never return to that restaurant nor would I recommend it.

Good value, but clam bake was way too greasy (smothered in butter). Had to wait for drinks and apps and entrees were brought out too soon.

Bahr’s is in a beautiful location on the water and could be so much more than it is. Service was very good and the restaurant is attractive enough. But the food seems stuck in 1980 — salty, uninspired, overcooked enough to be unappealing. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of their diners return just because they’ve always gone there, not because the food is good. I won’t be returning.

First time back after several years - perfect timing, as the summer crowds left us with tables by the water view, and parking in the main lot! Service was attentive and friendly, drinks from the bar were well mixed (Vodka martinis). Lobster rolls and twin lobster were excellent and the desserts too much to eat - but we managed ! Overall a beautiful Sunday afternoon by the water and another good time at Bahr’s.
