BackDoor Bistro and Wine Bar focuses on sustainable, ethically sourced cuisine. Local farms produce as much as possible of the produce and ingredients for BackDoor Bistro. Its menu changes seasonally for varied options that change with the seasons and the bounty of surrounding farms. This restaurant also offers local beer, wine and artisanal cocktails for delightful pairings.

Guests can start their meals with bites and appetizers like the Polenta Fries with Cilantro Lime Crema, the Crispy Thai Brussels Sprouts. or the Seasonal Seared Spanish Octopus. They can then move onto the crowd-pleasing Stempler Creek Beef Burger, the Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse, or the hearty Southern Style Fried Chicken which is served Tuesday-Thursday nights.

The gorgeous patio is surrounded by plant life and set aside a bustling courtyard. The dining room is charming yet elegant. BackDoor Bistro has been voted best spot for a date night for many years for a reason!

Very nicely decorated for Valentine’s Day. 5 course pre fix menu was delicious! I was full by the time I finished my entree so I was only able to eat 2 bites of my dessert. It was delicious! My husband had enough room to finish my dessert for me. We both loved our meal!

Food was very good and presentation was appealing; service was very good ; only wish ambience could be better, restaurant gets very noisy; overall food and service make up for the lack of ambience

Food is good, but the acoustics in the restaurant are bad so it’s very loud causing a hard time to hear people at your table. Have experienced this every time I’ve been at the restaurant.

The food was very good although a little pricey for what you got. The noise level was through the roof. The tables were very close together making it hard to get in or out. The service was only so-so. The plates from the starter course were not cleared before the entrees arrived and the server couldn't handle removing the used plates and placing the entrees in its place. The waiter rarely checked in to see if our needs were met. All in all, very tasty food and the service could use some improvement.

We had the flat iron steak with risotto. The steak was a little fatty and tough but decent flavor. The risotto was really good. The kale salad was very good!

Friendly staff, nice cozy atmosphere. Food was just ok and price was way too high. I had the squash dish. I couldnt eat the squash, it tasted like a stick of butter. I ate the tomatoes and olives on the side. My husband ordered steak which he said tasted good, but made his stomach very upset all night. We will not be returning.
