BackDoor Bistro and Wine Bar focuses on sustainable, ethically sourced cuisine. Local farms produce as much as possible of the produce and ingredients for BackDoor Bistro. Its menu changes seasonally for varied options that change with the seasons and the bounty of surrounding farms. This restaurant also offers local beer, wine and artisanal cocktails for delightful pairings.

Guests can start their meals with bites and appetizers like the Polenta Fries with Cilantro Lime Crema, the Crispy Thai Brussels Sprouts. or the Seasonal Seared Spanish Octopus. They can then move onto the crowd-pleasing Stempler Creek Beef Burger, the Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse, or the hearty Southern Style Fried Chicken which is served Tuesday-Thursday nights.

The gorgeous patio is surrounded by plant life and set aside a bustling courtyard. The dining room is charming yet elegant. BackDoor Bistro has been voted best spot for a date night for many years for a reason!

I took my cousins and niece here for dinner. I was planning to do my bridesmaids proposals - they said yes by the way hehe. The host called to make sure we are coming - we were running a little late due to traffic. The waitress and servers were nice. They were clean as well. The vibe was great and they played good music. We enjoyed the food and drinks. We had a great time! Will definitely recommend for group hangouts and even a romantic date.

Wonderful menu selection and reasonably priced. The food tasted great. The service was a bit spotty (e.g. didn't ever bring the avocado I ordered on my burger, didn't come and ask if I wanted a second drink) but I would happily return again.

Wonderful, patient, thorough service. Food is consistently above standard and satisfying. Every time I’ve been it’s been consistent and delicious

This was my third time at this restaurant. The first two times I had the ribeye steak and it was masterfully seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and butter. I recommended the place to several friends. The third time I ordered the ribeye it was undercooked and covered with spicy tomatoes. All I can say is don’t fix what’s not broken.

One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Food is always prepared fresh, and clean with a nice variety of choices for various diets. Love seasonally prepared dishes and good quality of drinks. We have always had friendly great service.

Great service by our server Sam. Food is always great. The polenta fries remains our favorite item to have here. They are worth coming here for.

This was my second time there and the food is for the most part excellent. Polenta fries- so so good. Light and fluffy and crispy outside. A must. Lamb sliders - I eat a lot of lamb and these are outstanding. The flavors complement each other very well. Seabass and lemon risotto- the fish is cooked perfectly, is tender and juicy. The risotto is fresh and gives a hint of lemon to the fish. It’s so so good. Pork plate - the let down of the meal. It’s plated in a weird way, the portion is very small for what you pay. There is an overwhelming amount of coleslaw…probably to try and make up for the small portion of meat. The blueberry bbq sauce is just not great. The corn bread is ok. I’d never order this again and it just doesn’t go with the menu. It was very loud in there last night. So loud my table couldn’t hear each other talk a lot of the time. Maybe they should try some ways to mitigate this? That being said though, I love this restaurant and the food is awesome (just don’t get the pork!)
