Welcome to Bacco Ristorante Italiano!
"Bacco" is a family run restaurant, situated across the road from Richmond station. We serve great, authentic Italian food, using fresh seasonal ingredients. We are very passionate about home cooking, therefore we make our own fresh pasta, focaccia | ciabatta bread and desserts. We have an extensive Italian wine list, ranging from small producers from different parts of Italy to well-known vineyards such as Antinori.
Our Alfresco dining can sit up to 50 guests. The terrace is heated during the cooler seasons.
"Vinoteca" - our private dining area, is available on request for large groups, whereby we can sit up to 26 people.

Have always loved this restaurant, although the last time we came they seemed to be struggling after ‘lockdown’, with the food being average and many wines listed not available. Was delighted to go at the weekend and to see it was busy and had a good choice on the menu and all the wines were available. Sadly the food was not great. The squid was too crispy and the seafood linguine didn’t taste like a homemade sauce and I definitely couldn’t taste the ‘hint of chilli’ and was therefore pretty tasteless and quite bland. Friends with me also felt the food was pretty average. I now realise it is not the original owners and I don’t think the new owners/chef are Italian, which is disappointing.

We had a great time. The food, drink, service and ambience were really good. We are return diners and will be back again soon.

Table of four and the food was really good. We ordered calamari, goats cheese aranchini, muscles and a number of pasta dishes for mains. This was a reccomendation from an Italian colleague and the food was really authentic. Directly opposition the station a must try for anyone looking for a Italian food in richmond.

The outdoor seating was delightful, the service was thoughtful and efficient, and the prominently to the Orange Tree Theatre was great. The food, while earnest, was okay, not a standout.

Lovely staff, beautiful food presentation. Our first time here but well be back . Thank you to the staff who made us feel so relaxed and welcome. A real highlight.

I’ve been a Bacco fan since it opened. Neither of my friends had been before - they loved it and have designated Bacco as our future GO TO in Richmond. Melanza Parmigiana is exquisite, bresaola starter fab and both pasta dishes were raved about. The service is lovely and at this time of year being able to eat outside under very flattering red parasols, a plus
