Welcome to Bacco Ristorante Italiano!
"Bacco" is a family run restaurant, situated across the road from Richmond station. We serve great, authentic Italian food, using fresh seasonal ingredients. We are very passionate about home cooking, therefore we make our own fresh pasta, focaccia | ciabatta bread and desserts. We have an extensive Italian wine list, ranging from small producers from different parts of Italy to well-known vineyards such as Antinori.
Our Alfresco dining can sit up to 50 guests. The terrace is heated during the cooler seasons.
"Vinoteca" - our private dining area, is available on request for large groups, whereby we can sit up to 26 people.

We have been to this lovely restaurant many times. The food and service are always excellent, and the location is ideal, being close to the train station and both theatres. We certainly intend to book here for the next time we are in Richmond.

A most pleasant repeat visit. Wine list a little diminished and the menu smaller than I recall but all very good nonetheless. Service superb.

We had a lovely Friday dinner with our family at Bacco Restaurant. All the starter were delicious, our favourite one was: fritto misto. The ragu and truffle pasta are incredible. Would definitely recommend.

Warm service, food very good. Menu full of "reliable favourites" but might benefit from some daily "specials" to add a little variety. Overall a very dependable restaurant.

As always - a delightful, tasty, well-presented, and fairly-priced meal; in quiet, comfortable surroundings; served by charming and courteous staff. I keep on coming back.

Food was simple classic Italian, great wines and the service was superb. Our waitress, Lala, was fantastic.

Fast service. Right next door to the Orange Tree boutique hotel which was convenient for us as we were craving Italian food. All the dishes we ate plus wine and dessert was wonderful. Warm ambiance. Friendly service.

This is the first time I have been back to Bacco's since it changed ownership and the end of the pandemic and I was pleasantly surprised. The friendly atmosphere is still there and service was really good pre-matinee on a Saturday afternoon. One of our number had mobility challenges and, unfortunately, none of the toilets are really suitable, so do bear that in mind if that is an issue. The menu was was not too long and we enjoyed well-cooked dishes including a shared tender seafood and vegetable fritto misto and well prepared veal escalopes followed by an assortment of gelati. I will definitely return.
