Bacari Sherman Oaks is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 6th restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Alongside our delicious tapas, we offer a rotating curation of small-production wines and eclectic beers, unique craft cocktails & mocktails, and we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special.

Our team provides warm hospitality in our loungey indoor Parlour Room, our bright and airy Sunroom, or in one of our many comfortable outdoor patios, all marked with rustic mediterranean decor. You will feel like home when dining at Bacari Sherman Oaks.

We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties, even on busy nights. Bacari Sherman Oaks is the go-to spot for our neighbors, and we look forward to hosting you soon!

Delicious, reasonable price, charming atmosphere, friendly service, a bit slow, inside was noisy. We will definitely return.

The food was good but it was noisy (even though we were on the patio), the food…small plates to share….all came too quickly. We had finished more than half of the dishes we ordered before they brought the wine. The service was pleasant, but rushed. We were seated by the restrooms so people were always walking by. The wine lust, too, could be much improved. We enjoyed the food, but will not be rushing back.

Food was outstanding, however the kitchen was sooooooo slow. In fact they forgot our food twice. Not our waiters fault as he kept chasing it down. I would definitely recommend Glendale or Silverlake above Sherman Oaks

Last few times I have visited it takes a long while to be greeted at the table.

This place NEVER disappoints! Our party of 5 enjoyed outdoor seating and yes regardless of the 80 something degree weather between the ambience, conversation, fans and drinks we were not noticing the heat. Additionally, not only are the staff so friendly and attentive - you can tell they all work so well together - but the food!!! omg - I have yet to meet a dish that is not absolutely delicious!! Our party enjoyed the burrata caprese, rainbow beets, shrimp ceviche, green falafel, sea bass, ricotta and beet gnocchi, and the asian pear and brie pizza - YUM!!!! and don't forget about drinks - thanks Bacari for a lovely Thursday!!

Went to catch up with a girlfriend. We had a reservation and were seated in 10 min. Service was great as was the food. Noise level was a bit overbearing at times during the conversation-specific for inside seating. Overall a great time.

This was my 3rd time to Bacari. Bacari is an interesting concept with a tapas style menu. Food is brought out as it comes. Some dishes are good and some are just not thought out. Overall, they try really hard, and it’s a fun place to go if you want a lively atmosphere and don’t care much about the service or quality. The wine list tends to be on the sweet side, and no premium wines are offered. Also the list is very unfamiliar. A stand out was the gyros tacos which were very flavorful. The mac n cheese was pretty horrible and made with too much flour. My husband liked the salmon, although it was like warm and not to my taste. Stuffed mushrooms were inedible—so filled with salt and pesto it was rather sickening. The wait person was super friendly, but admitted they were overwhelmed for a Monday. Honestly, the service was poor every time I came, despite their friendly effort. The first dish that came out was mac n cheese, and the person assigned to drop it off made no eye contact and just dropped in on the table and kept walking like we were dogs getting our bowl of food. I understand this is a popular place, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who cares about quality food, wine, or service. If they coordinated their kitchen with the staff better and upgraded their wine selection, it would be better, but right now it’s extremely disorganized.

We had our Bookclub meeting here last night. We were a party of 5. Our group decided to share everything, we had the… burrata caprese, lamb hummus, sea bass, noa's cauliflower,asian pear & brie pizza and grilled pita. For dessert we had the best cake (medjool dates, brown sugar caramel, crispy bacon) and a double chocolate cake with ice cream. The food, ambience and service was outstanding!! Everyone was friendly and attentive! Especially our server Crystal!! She was very charming, knowledgeable and helpful with our menu choices. The only item that we disliked was the grilled pita and that’s because we felt it was too salty. We definitely plan on coming back!
