Bacari GDL is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 3rd restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Alongside our delicious tapas, we offer a rotating curation of small-production wines and eclectic beers, unique craft cocktails & mocktails, and we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special.

Our team provides warm hospitality in our comfortable, intimate indoor lounge by the bar or in our spacious, breezy outdoor patio. You will feel like home when dining at Bacari GDL.

We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties, even on busy nights. Bacari GDL is the go-to spot for our neighbors, and we look forward to hosting you soon!

Was a highlight of my trip so far David Chris and everyone we encountered were the example of quality service. Attentive and helpful and made us feel so special. Being vegan they are so helpful in recommending vegan options and made a special drink one of our party requested that they have in Australia Can’t say enough good things about this place- WE WILL BE BACK

We arrived with a reservation, but had to wait while they set up a table, then changed their minds and set up a different table… . Since they knew we were coming, why wasn’t the table ready for us? Service at the outset was slow, getting drink order taken, getting drinks, starting food order, then they kicked into action and the rest of our dining experience was stellar! The food is extraordinary! Something for everyone and then some. The only problem was we got filled before we could try everything that we loved from previous visits. Yes, everyone in our party would go back again!

I’ve been frequenting Bacari since it opened. It’s our go to place for dinner. This time I thought the service was incredibly slow even though we booked a table and it appeared there were not enough wait staff to cover all the outside tables. I know the kitchen is small and food is cooked to order. This evening was particularly challenging. Coupled with the fact that the server (manager) spilt my drink over but didn’t replace it was a little frustrating. We will be back as it is our go to, but this particularly evening wasn’t as sparkling as usual.

I love the Bacari restaurants. We have been to Silver Lake and Sherman Oaks and wanted to try Glendale. The food was amazing as always, didn’t like the location as much as the others. Extremely noisy on the busy street, service was good but not like the other locations. Will try Third street next time.

Great place for our weekly date nights. Awesome food.. the asian pear and brie pizza is a must try. Scallops and mushrooms. Did I mention the drinks yet? Yep. Tasty drinks.
