Bacari GDL is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 3rd restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Alongside our delicious tapas, we offer a rotating curation of small-production wines and eclectic beers, unique craft cocktails & mocktails, and we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special.

Our team provides warm hospitality in our comfortable, intimate indoor lounge by the bar or in our spacious, breezy outdoor patio. You will feel like home when dining at Bacari GDL.

We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties, even on busy nights. Bacari GDL is the go-to spot for our neighbors, and we look forward to hosting you soon!

Slow service. When you sit down they tell you they work as a team and any server can be flagged down if we want anything. Seemed like many staff were present but one girl doing most of the work. Food was just ok, better to spend money elsewhere. Update: the restaurant responded to my review and requested more specifics. Here goes. The food came out very slow. The one girl who was seemingly doing all the work did stop by a couple of times and tell us that it was coming out soon, but really it was too slow. And it wasn't even that busy. As I first mentioned above , when you first seated the host tells you that they are a team and that we can flag any of them down. Well most of the staff hung out outside and never really came back into the restaurant. There was just the one Asian girl (she was great), who was "accessible" since she was running around, so we kept relying on her for service. When food did arrive it was presented well and ok. Both the lack of service, and long wait for the food brought down the whole experience.

Great food great atmosphere. Our server Casey was exceptional. Would come back. We are from out of town and took a chance on this place. Glad we did.

Amazing spot with great tapas style eats and wonderful service! Our servers KC and David were both amazing and we were able to have the best time people watching, catching up and eating some great finds on the menu from their schwarama tacos to the kale Tuscan salad. 10:10 would recommend

The food and the service were amazing! The Red Snapper Tartar, Scallops, and Mediterranean Corn were by far some of the most flavorful and delicious food we have eaten. Each bite was an explosion of flavor. I highly recommend giving Bacari a try. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

That was a disappointing experience. I mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday. They didn’t comp our dessert ($13) nor did they offer a celebratory one. We were 3 adults. Bill was $216. A scoop of ice cream with a candle would have been a nice gesture. We’ve been to two other locations in the past. Sherman Oaks and Silverlake. They both treated us for a birthday dessert. It just makes the experience more special. Not that we can’t afford to pay for one. Plus, why do they even ask if guests are celebrating anything? Even the receipt had “Mom Birthday” printed on it. What’s the point? The food wasn’t as good as the two other locations. Our waiter was excellent though! First and last time!

The food and service was amazing. Every dish was delicious and visually appealing. A little noisy but worth the experience.

This was my second time here and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. The staff was very patient and accommodating. My entire party felt very welcome and comfortable. I want to give a special shoutout to Rene for being very responsive to my messages and kindly accommodating to my requests. I totally get why this place is always busy. There’s no reason to say anything g bad about this place!

It’s an active, lively place, food served tapas style. The menu has many artfully prepared tasty choices. The servers and wait staff are very good and make they this place go.

Outstanding food , ( should sell a cider ) because they are soo good for people with celiac disease, that have to eat gluten free , we love this place and will eat hear every time we are in Glendale
