Bacari GDL is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 3rd restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Alongside our delicious tapas, we offer a rotating curation of small-production wines and eclectic beers, unique craft cocktails & mocktails, and we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special.

Our team provides warm hospitality in our comfortable, intimate indoor lounge by the bar or in our spacious, breezy outdoor patio. You will feel like home when dining at Bacari GDL.

We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties, even on busy nights. Bacari GDL is the go-to spot for our neighbors, and we look forward to hosting you soon!

I've booked two (2) large business dinners in the last 30 days and WOW! Great food, selection and superb customer service by Bacari GDL. It's become our go-to place and are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Rene for exceptional service.

Good food. Lamb hummus was tasty but too salty and garlicky and extremely rich. Chicken tacos perfect. GF brioche was great sub also. Loved this place, stuff great and very noisy so be prepared.

I haven’t dine at Bacari in several months so, I’ve decided to make reservations for two. They have several new items but, my go to has always been the crab cake Benedict’s. This was the first time I have gone I had received poor service. When I mean poor service I meant the worse service I’ve ever had in a very long time. Our, server took a lunch break without telling us. No, one came by to check in on us for the longest time. I had to wave someone down several times to ask for my crab cake Benedict’s that I had order to check on our order. Which that server never did so, I had to wave down another server at that point I was just OVER it. It took over 45mins to get it.

This is the 3rd Bacari location I've tried out. This time I sat at the bar, which I always love. Service was fast, polite and efficient. Drinks were excellent. Food was delicious. Tried out some things I haven't tried before. Don't sleep on the falafel. The portion sizes were a bit different than the Silverlake location, not sure why. Even if the portions are a little small for the price, the food is presented well and everything has great flavor.

We had two large groups (12 & 10 - which were originally booked for 10 & 8) and I’m really impressed with how the servers managed us - including two people with Celiac disease!

My only complaint is with the Americana mall, which doesn’t honor the restaurant’s parking validation if you are there for over 2 hours. Not the biggest deal in the world, but it’s pretty tacky to get charged $27 for parking after spending $300 on dinner. For $27 I would hope for at least a valet. I love Bacari, but the Silver Lake location is nicer, and doesn’t rip you off on parking. I don’t see coming to the Glendale location again.
