Afternoon Tea, bubbly brunches, happy hour & events. Babe's is a modern and bright tea party destination. Also, enjoy an elevated café experience including sandwiches, salads, pastry, and a variety of savory bites. We are Golden's go-to for bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, book clubs and corporate events alike! Our space includes a full bar, riverside patio, private event room, café, tea lounge, wine shop, gift shop, and grab & go market. We stock over 90 loose leaf teas and include an unlimited tea tasting with our full Afternoon Tea Service. Please, be our guest! We can't wait to host you!

Afternoon tea at its finest! The staff was very kind and service was outstanding. Our only downer was that we were seated by the west facing windows. There were not shades and the afternoon son was extremely uncomfortable.

My mom, daughter, daughter-in-law and I tried Babes in Golden, CO for their afternoon tea, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We’ve been to a lot of tea places around the world, and Babes had delicious and nicely portioned tea sandwiches. It wasn’t overly sweet, and they were able to accommodate my GF diet, since I have celiac.

I enjoyed my visit to your pretty tearoom. The food was good and fresh. I would have like to see more items for sandwiches on your menu. I thought you would have had a larger selection of deserts as in cake, pies, tarts, cheesecake, etc. The tea was quite nice and the main room was cozy.

Very disappointed in our experience would very much so recommend going to their downtown location as the customer service is better. The ambience is better. The temperature of the restaurant is better overall 100% better experience going downtown. Our spot was so hot. We couldn't even drink enough water to stay cooled down the waitress knew we were miserable. Our food was melting before we could even eat it because it was so hot and then our waitress I believe her name was Jessica was so poor. We only got to Try, few tees for a big group of seven because she didn't come around often. Experience downtown everybody was so kind and helpful and informative and checked on us and made us feel cared for this is not the same experience in golden so I would highly recommend for the price and the ambience to not go to this location, which is very sad because we were very excited about the golden location being closer to us . So again, if you get sat in front of the window in the corner, I would ask to be moved because you're going to melt if you get the waitress Jessica and any of the people who help serve with her I would definitely see if you can get other people because it will not be a joyful experience for the price you pay! So more of our experience is if we return, we will go back to the downtown location as we had 100% better experience down there when we went!

We loved our afternoon tea! Our server was extremely personable and friendly. It was great for a ladies afternoon! We really enjoyed the tea sandwiches and tea selections, the deserts were nice too. Although, sadly we do have to say we didn’t really care for the pumpkin scones. But, it definitely did not ruin our experience, we know other people would probably enjoy them.

We made a reservation in advance, but upon arrival, we experienced a 40-minute wait before being seated. After being seated, it took an additional five minutes to be attended to. The food was average, and the scones, in particular, were dry and lacked flavor. The noise level was quite high, with the clattering of dishes and loud conversations creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Our seating arrangement was also less than ideal. We were placed by a window with no option for shading, and the bench provided was not comfortable. Overall, we were disappointed, especially considering the price. It is unclear why reservations are required when such extended waits are still expected."

Aspen seated us and got us water. She was very nice. Laudia was wonderful (a great server). The food was delicious. Babe’s is fast becoming an absolute favorite of mine!!❤️
