My husband and I went with my Grandson and his fiancé. It was a great time especially because the ribs are the best!!! The waiter was exceptional, keeping us laughing and enjoying the food!!!

They’re closing this location in a week and they act like they don’t care about current customers. Understaffed and overworked, the waiters/waitresses are doing the best they can. Food quality is less than it was. The brisket sandwich was so fatty, it was barely edible. Yam was so cold it wouldn’t melt the butter. Looking forward to seeing what might come next to replace them. Maybe someplace with good food. I definitely don’t plan on visiting Babes at the their new location down valley.

The food was delicious! The server was wonderful. The price for a loaded baked potatoes was pretty good. Sorry to hear its moving from The River.

Our server seemed to completely dislike our table from the start. I’m not sure why, we ordered premium drinks and everyone got a full meal. We were there to celebrate my mom’s birthday and it was a subpar experience. Myself and my sister had to send back our macaroni and cheese because it was overly salty. Our server checked in on us after we got our food a total of zero times. We had to flag him down for anything we needed. No drink refills, no boxes for our food. I had to remind him about my mom’s birthday to get her dessert. Then he never brought the check. I had to flag him down again to bring it and as soon as I got my card out he turned and walked away from me without the check! I had to go up to him and tell him we had to leave. Babes used to be better. I’m so disappointed.

We made a 7 pm reservation and were seated right away. NOBODY CHECKED ON US OR SAID ANYTHING TO US FOR 15 MINUTES. Finally the hostess came and asked if anyone had come by. She at least got us water. A very apologetic waiter (Joran) came after 20 minutes and took our drink and appetizer order. 15 minutes later apologetic Joran brought our drinks and said he’d be back to take our order as soon as he delivered the other drinks on his tray to another table. Another 10 minutes passed and we placed our order (45 minutes after being seated) again with the Hostess because Joran had disappeared again. Someone else brought our appetizer. At 8:10 we finally got our food. The Salmon plate and Ribs and meat plate were good. The $5 half yam and the corn on the cob were cold. The mixed veggies were warm and soggy and dripping in oil. The Cesar Salad was limp. To top it off we were brought our bill and overcharged almost $80. The excuse was the Hostess took the order and added to another tables order. The birthday boy got a nice plate of ribs but otherwise this would have been a total disaster. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it and won’t be back.

We really enjoy this restaurant's BBQ St. Louis style ribs, and the pulled pork sandwiches. Good side dishes as well. Rather noisy on this visit but it might have been just a few large groups.

Very warm in the restaurant. Wish there was AC or at least fans were on a little higher. I had initially booked my husbands and mine anniversary and didn’t receive anything. Food was very good just wish it was cooler inside
