The Feast of the Seven Fishes is a Babbo Christmas Eve tradition. Enjoy a one-night-only Tasting Menu to celebrate Christmas Babbo style! Due to limited availability, pre-paid tickets are required. The Feast of the Seven Fishes Tasting Menu requires the participation of the entire table. Reservations open November 24th and can be made through our website. Tickets are $150/ person (plus tax and gratuity), with optional Wine Pairings available for purchase night-of for $100/ person.

Babbo used to be great many years ago and has deteriorated tremendously. I got to the restaurant a few minutes early after getting a text that the table was ready. The host would not seat us until the party was complete. We waited several minutes in a cramped foyer. I asked the host where he would like us to stand. He said “where ever you feel most comfortable.” I said “I’d feel most comfortable at my table.” He was remarkably rude and his attitude alone made me never want to return. The food was good but not great. The atmosphere is loud but the crowd is stuffy. Service was generally subpar and nothing was memorable.

I love Joe Bastianich but I was expecting more from the restaurant. What’s up with the hard rock music blasting and preventing conversation? Is this some cruel punishment? C’mon Joe, you’re half Italian, you know the culture, don’t ruin the experience! Food with peaks and valleys, excellent service and decor. NYC prices

Did the pasta tasting menu which was fantastic. Wine pairings by Angelina were exquisite and inventive. We had a blast!

Due to the reviews I was seeing online I decided to give this place a shot for my 6 month anniversary with my fiancé. Upon walking in, I was seated in the absolute furthest corner near the kitchen (place was empty for the duration of me being there so didn’t make much sense. Me and fiancé were dressed business casual in case that’s a thought). Babbo claims to be authentic Italian but the choice of music when I was there was 80s/90s Rock n Roll which was also extremely odd. These things aside, my fiancé ordered the grilled octopus for an appetizer, Spaghttoni and black spaghetti for a 2nd course, and halibut for the final course. We placed our orders at 5:10 PM. The first course and drinks took about 10 minutes to come out, and my fiance at 70% of the dish within the first 10 minutes of it getting to the table. We wait for 45 minutes before (after 3 failed attempts) we finally were able to flag down our waiter to ask him where the rest of our food was. He rudely points to her plate and says when you guys are done with this we’ll bring out the second course. Not once did he attempt to ask if we were done or needed anything within those 45 minutes in a mostly vacant restaurant. We tell him we’re done and 15min later the spaghettis come out. Both dishes were wildly overcooked and the spaghettoni which claimed to be 1lb of lobster contained maybe 1/4 lb of lobster. The sauce was terribly done and was all in all a mess. We told our waiter to cancel the halibut because the food was bad and we wanted to get out of there and they told us it wasn’t possible. I didn’t even touch the halibut and was charged for it. When I confronted the waiter about the terrible service. I was told to deal with it by him. The manager than came in and told me “this place isn’t Olive Garden if you don’t like it than leave” after I already paid. Terrible service, ambiance, food, and everything in between. Once seated, the waiter was rushed. When asked, he confirmed that for a table of 2 the turn time was 1 hour & 15 minutes. This was not mentioned when the reservation was made. Further, we had to ask to speak to The sommelier 4 times. Overall it was such a disappointment.
