Named after a well-known historical landmark of Yemen, Bab-Al-Yemen serves dishes cooked in accordance with traditional Yemeni recipes using high quality ingredients.

Coming from Montreal direct to Bab Al Yemen .. i have a lot to say … I was impressed by the cozy ambiance and welcoming hospitality professionals staff . Also music and decor create a warm atmosphere. The service was prompt and attentive; our server was knowledgeable and offered great recommendations. I ordered many dishes as we are big family which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The spices really stood out. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received, making it a great value for the experience. Overall, I highly recommend Bab Al Yemen . You will never disappoint

The hummus with the meat is an incredible appetizer dish! I really liked the ambiance of this place and the service was outstanding. They were very accommodating in honoring our reservation even though we ran late due to parking delays. The table felt a little tight for all the food we ordered but we made it work. I enjoyed the Lamb Haneeth dish even though it was slightly fatty. The decor in this place was truly one of a kind, the service was exceptional and this restaurant is located in a great part of Boston. Highly recommend!

Initially puzzled that utensils were a fork and a spoon, but the lamb was so tender a knife was not needed. Chicken was even more succulent.

The food at this restaurant is abundant and flavorful. Excellent value and you will not leave hungry. We were glad we opted out of an appetizer, as we had difficulty getting through our meals. I would have appreciated some alcoholic options for beverages. I do like a glass of wine with my meal and was surprised they had none. Definitely not a deal breaker and still highly recommend, but a personal preference.
