We went to LA Food Bowl and discovered how amazing Baar Baar was so we decided to check it out. And we weren’t disappointed. Everything was top notch !

It was a great experience. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday so we took a very nice bottle of wine (paid the corkage) for us both while our son had the Sholay Cocktail which was very good! The appetizers and the main dishes were delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and the chef came out and spoke to us. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because someone could have paid a bit more attention to our empty glasses. Just saying…a little pampering goes a long way! But otherwise the decor and everything else was great! Will go back again and this time order from their bar!

We really enjoyed the experience. The food was great, and the ambiance was outstanding. They had a Vegan option on the menu that was great for my wife.

The food was not great. Had much better expectations from them. The chicken dishes were bland and flavorless. Black Daal was good but most of the appetizers that we ordered were not upto the mark.

This is Indian food elevated! Flavors are so so good! Each dish is carefully prepared and presented. It was my mom’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make her feel special. This was the first time my mom celebrated at a fancy Indian restaurant and it was the best! Thank you so much.

Superb dining experience. The atmosphere is very nice, the decor is modified/updated Indian in all the right ways. Sound levels are fairly high as the restaurant fills up, but not overpowering enough to stifle conversations. A special set menu was offered and we took it. Included was an amuse bouche, a starter, main, and dessert from a selection in each category. Service was professional, timing of each course was good, water glasses were filled regularly. Most important, the "modern" Indian food was truly excellent. Portions were generous and the sauces were incredible. A truly memorable meal.

Enjoyed a high end Indian cuisine with great service. Unfortunately, the volume of music ranged (across playlist songs) from reasonable “background” to “too kid to talk.”
