We booked a lounge for the evening DJ at the pool deck. Our waitress was nice and attentive but she served us with cheap plastic cups to start with. It was a big deal for her to get us acrylic glasses. I would expect this at the minimum for this level of resort. We paid $43 just to valet and that was with the validation. If they are charging that, then they can surely afford to serve us in acrylic glasses. They need to step up. They also need to have a service in the garage that allows parking for the minimum rate when there’s an event at Amalie. Not cool to ask us to pay premium for parking when we aren’t attending the event.

Food was subpar. Way over cooked meats. Server was very nice, but overwhelmed with 7 tables. Was a bit in the weeds, not fault of server. 7 tables is too much for server.

The food was very flavorful! Chef Rudy and his team made this evening very memorable. As well as Jose, our server, Jordan, and the bartender on duty, Alina, made us the most delicious passionfruit citrus cocktail! Beautiful atmosphere as well!

If you don’t dine here while in Tampa, there might be something wrong with you. Request a table on the terrace too and beware of the tater tots: You will fall in love so hard that you’ll never eat them elsewhere ever again.

My wife and I were really looking forward to a nice dinner date as we heard so much about Azure. The evening started off badly as we could not get to the valet parking due to cones being place everywhere by the city of Tampa - certainly not the Editions fault. We had a 5:30 reservation, and we were seated promptly. Our table was directly across from the bar, which was not a big deal from 5:30 until 6, however, that’s when things took a turn. The bar became full of patrons for the event at Amalie last night and since my chair back was facing the bar, I kept getting nudged by bar bar patrons and did not enjoy my meal as a result. I had the branzino filet which was nicely prepared and had good flavor, along with the spinach rice. Our server - Kala - did the best she could to ensure the bar patrons stayed near the bar, but it just wasn’t happening. Totally disappointing evening and chalked it up to lesson learned. This is one Water St location that we will not visit again.

Had reservations for 3 and they were able to accommodate a 4th at my table. Service was great, drinks were good. Had the seared octopus which was flavored well along with hummus and pita. I'm very lucky to have been seated at a table inside away from the bar because it rained and they closed access to the pool area. It was hard to even squeeze past the bar and super loud, I felt bad for the tables right by the bar. I would go back again. Recommend reservations
