This is a great Cuban restaurant. Food is superb, including Cuban favorites like pork masas, oxtails, paellas and arroz con pollo dishes. Brunch menu is creative and excellent with fritatas to die for. Choice of sangrias and cocktails are also great. Service is welcoming and efficient.

Food was average or below average, depending on what was ordered. Drinks were good. Mains were fair (served lukewarm, small portions). Service by the manager was great, but the server missed obtaining a drink order from one of four diners. Not a great value for the prices charged. Restaurant was so noisy that we could not hear diners sitting across the table from us (Venue has high ceilings that amplify music and conversations of diners sitting at other tables). We've had lunch here in the past, and it is a better value for the money than dinner is.

Best authentic Cuban food in Charlotte area. Place is a little small but service is always great. Second time here

We enjoyed our meal and experience very much. It is a simple place and nothing fancy about it. The service was excellent. Staff were helpful and attentive. Food was tasty and satisfying. Will come again.

I was surprised. I was expecting so much more. They do not allow substitutions. Most food has pork in it. I wish the server told us the black bean dip was cold. We would have hit another appetizer. The waitress made no recommendations and when we asked it was oh that’s good. What do you mean that’s good? What’s good for you isn’t good for me. Maybe this dish is lemony or this dish is a fan favorite, etc. The chicken I ordered was salty. I was thinking it would be seasoned well but it mainly had salt. The alcoholic drink was good but so small. I don’t know if they have daily specials nothing.

We walked out before ordering. It was a "fast food environment", not something we wanted for a Friday night dinner. Very plastic.

Overall, it is good food. Almost authentic Cuban food. The only unfortunate thing is that they add spicy hot flavors whereas in real Cuban cuisine, we do not. The croquetas were very good. So were the empanadas and yuca fries. The Branzino was excellent but it had a spicy hot sauce around the plate that overwhelmed the fish. The potatoes were also very spicy. The Palomilla was great but it was topped with a skewer of tostones with jalapenos. We do not have jalapenos in Real Cuban cuisine. I enjoyed the Ropa Vieja but again, to much spicy hot flavor to truly enjoy it fully. Overall we liked the restaurant and the service. Now we are aware of the spice level and will request the spice level to be toned down.

Our second visit and won't be our last. Love the ambiance, the food and the presentation. Staff is very friendly. So happy you are in the neighborhood!
