Escape the chaos of city life and enter a social haven of comfort and warmth in the heart of Paddington, London. With rich, dark green walls, elaborate décor and plush banquette seating, Ayllu is a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant serving contemporary sharing plates, sushi and innovative cocktails.

The cosy restaurant is built around the traditions of the Ayllu community of the Inca Empire. The Ayllu was a group of families that lived together, worked the land together and shared their belongings and mealtimes, just like a large family. Much like the Incan civilisation, Ayllu is about the coming together of friends and families and taking time to share an experience of great food and innovative cocktails with loved ones.

Drawing on the inspiration of the Ayllu community, the menu consists of innovative small plates, designed for the whole table to share. Traditional Peruvian flavours are paired with Japanese influences, bringing fresh and zesty aromas to each dish.

Wow! We came for lunch but ended up having an entire experience. The staff, including the table hosts, waiters, and talented dancers, were really welcoming. We enjoyed tender, juicy meat and unique, flavourful vegetable dishes. The DJ today was incredible in creating a lively and entertaining atmosphere throughout! The songs were perfectly suited to the scene, making the afternoon all the more memorable. I had so much fun today, and I'm so glad we reserved a spot at Ayllu!

I took my boyfriend out for celebrating the end of his ACA exams! We had a great evening, got the Cuzco taster menu which was delicious with a great variety of Peruvian and Japanese food. Delicious wine and great ambience, only downfall was the size of the dessert - could have done with more than just churros!!

Weekend brunch for unlimited food and drink Food was nice but the waiting time is too long when you try to order more food as you only allow to order 8 dishes a time and the portion really small. nice entertainment

I had a beautiful fun evening here for my boyfriends birthday! The food was amazing, great value for money. Will definitely be going back. Great atmosphere and lovely staff.

What an experience! The atmosphere of the place was like no other! Beautiful setting with lovely people working there! The food was unbelievable and the added dancers whilst we ate was so fun!! I want to shout out Morella who served us. What a lovely person with beautiful energy! When we finished and got ready to leave, I just needed to tell her how lovely she was! She was so attentive and knowledgeable on all the food and drink and just all round so so so friendly! Would 10000% go back again and again!

Had a cozy birthday dinner with friends. The food was brilliant! Great selection of drinks as well. Loved the music on both levels of the restaurant, they had two DJs on a Friday night. Only the service was a bit slow, with the waitress not checking on the table, they did look a bit understaffed. Overall it was a really great experience, will be coming back.
