Escape the chaos of city life and enter a social haven of comfort and warmth in the heart of Paddington, London. With rich, dark green walls, elaborate décor and plush banquette seating, Ayllu is a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant serving contemporary sharing plates, sushi and innovative cocktails.

The cosy restaurant is built around the traditions of the Ayllu community of the Inca Empire. The Ayllu was a group of families that lived together, worked the land together and shared their belongings and mealtimes, just like a large family. Much like the Incan civilisation, Ayllu is about the coming together of friends and families and taking time to share an experience of great food and innovative cocktails with loved ones.

Drawing on the inspiration of the Ayllu community, the menu consists of innovative small plates, designed for the whole table to share. Traditional Peruvian flavours are paired with Japanese influences, bringing fresh and zesty aromas to each dish.

Great Asian/South American place in Central London, all the food we had was amazingly good, the civic he's were the best I ever had and also the nigiri platter was incredibly good. This restaurant should be in the top 10 London venues. Amazing!!

My son who is in the Navy told me about this place and I booked it. I loved it! Cozy, fun, clean. Great service, excellent food. I had sashimi, he had tacos and ceviches and sushi. I used to live in US and have had plenty of sashimi, this was the best. We came back twice before I left, as I craved that sashimi! High recommend.

Ayllu in Paddington is well worth! All of the food was outstanding - the sashimi platter, salmon avocado rolls, and vegetable rolls all really hit the spot. The wine was excellent too. Will definitely be back next time I'm in London.

I went here three times in a row and was impressed by the quality, especially the sushi and sashimi were extremely good. Service is prompt and kind. Very romantic place if you want to sit in. Great place by the canal in Paddington area.

We realized that the place was obviously very popular from the moment we got there. The staff was great, it was well worth the short wait because the sushi was excellent. Great find and a great place to go for sushi in Paddington near Little Venice.

Was in town in Central London for a family vacation, and found this place on OpenTable...once again, this app delivers!!! We did book a table, and the dinner was perfect, and the sushi was great. Ranks up there with our favorite sushi in our hometown. STaff was friendly thanks to Morella for the recommendations...they were sure the very best...thanks so much!

The service was slow and it was really hard to get anyone's attention to order food and the staff was bearly visible on the floor. The only positive was the food.

We were here for Lunch, food only. I had the cuba mocktails, was really nice. The dancer was great! I could recommend to friends and family.
