Server made a few mistakes on our order of 8 people. Which were corrected… however one of our diners had an allergy to garlic which was on the steak and was not told that so she did not get a dinner but was taken off the bill. Server was overwhelmed and looked new. Value was really not there prob get higher quality food at a lower price and quieter atmosphere .

Hello Dale, we are sorry to hear that you had a guest that was not able to receive their dinner in a more-timely manner. We take allergen concerns to the absolute most importance, and if we are notified about an allium allergy, we will ensure that onions, garlic, scallion, scapes or any other member of that allergen comes in contact with our guest's food. We were not alerted about the specific garlic only allergy, which did not include another of the associated allergens until we had delivered their entree. We would absolutely bring them something as an alternative that would accommodate their health concerns immediately. We are one of the most conscious establishments in Minnesota when it comes to dietary concerns, and we are very sorry that your group's needs were not met.

We always order the walleye and it never disappoints us. We got a free appetizer for a birthday and we would have preferred smaller onion rings compared to the jumbo ones they serve now.

Our server was amazing. It’s a very nice location. We have been to many Axels with always delicious food. This food was not good at all. The popovers were either way over cooked or from yesterday. We are about 1/3 each. The pastrami sandwich had zero flavor. The French onion soup tasted like it was made from bouillon and didn’t see any onions in it. The avocado BLT came out cold and was blah. The wedge salad was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday which was on our reservation but they didn’t even bring us a dessert menu. It’s the worst Axels that we have ever been too, other than the server, and we won’t be back.

Our experience at Axel's Roseville last night could not have been better. Server, food, ambience was just perfect as always. An engagement had happened that day and our server brought us each a glass of bubbly to celebrate and she gladly took our photo. As always Axel's Roseville was excellent! Food ordered and enjoyed: Lamb, sea bass, scallops and coconut shrimp. Perfectly prepared.

Although our waitress was very kind and informative, it was not a great experience food wise. She had cautioned my husband against getting the sirloin because "is not very good", but when his filet mignon came out, it wasn't very good either! He asked for it to be done medium, and it was very rare. He asked for green beans and got burned asparagus. Their popovers used to be amazing! But they were overdone, dry, and barely warm. All in all, not the greatest dining experience. Don't think we'll be back, which is a shame. We used to go all the time back in the day. We wanted to try them again for my birthday, and it's safe to say, we probably won't be back.

We had a great dinner, but the popovers were SOOOO over done that they crumbled into dust. They were inedible. Not the way I remember them.

We had a great experience at Axel's - Roseville and really enjoyed ourselves. We sat inside and our server did not steer us wrong at all. The four of us tried something different on the menu each and loved it. Don’t recommend the bar, staff and little grumpy!! But rest of the experience was outstanding!!! Thanks so much to the team.
