The space is designed to welcome groups of any size to celebrate in a festive and fun atmosphere in the main dining room and stylish rooftop terrace for dinner, lunch, and brunch! I had a wonderful time with my husband at Avil! Fantastic food, great service, beautiful atmosphere. I definitely recommend if you’re in the Chicago area to stop by and have an awesome modern take on Greek cuisine!

Rooftop in the summer one of the best locations in the city. Service and food met the occasion.

Loved the spreads! Greek salad was fresh and tasty. Love the rooftop area, service was top notch!

We ate brunch on the roof terrace and it was lovely. I keep coming back for the food, but the roof just adds another layer of happiness on a nice day. I brought a friend who had never dined here and she is now a new fan. Thank you (and Emma our server) for the great experience.

We arrived at 10 am, our reservation time, and the table wasn’t ready for us. They just opened at 10! Disappointing. Two of the people from our party did not have their eggs cooked properly, which should be a minimum effort by the chef since they are open for brunch. Wait staff was just ok. We had to continue to ask for coffee rather than staff just bringing it to table and offering it. We aren’t sure whether wed’d return even though the lamb chops were something that looked good.

Great experience every time - beautiful atmosphere, great music, and great overall vibe - combined always with great service and delicious food - I have always had a great experience at this place and it never disappoints

Food is well prepared and tasty. It’s solid but not outstanding. Our server was hasty, not very attentive, not at the level of a restaurant that Avli aspires to be. We sat on the terrace, its very pleasant to be there overlooking the park. The terrace has a big bar and the music was annoyingly loud, seating away from the bar might have been a better choice.
