We did several share plates for our group of 4. The hummus/dip trio was delicious along with the fritters and meatballs. My husband loved the lamb and the wine (Syrah) was a good choice by our server. My only criticism is that it was very dark in the restaurant. Just a little more light would have been nice. They also didn’t have our first choice in wine but we found another.

Avli is one of the best restaurants in Milwaukee. Food and service were great. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The 3 spread sample is a good starter as is the saganaki. Salads are a bit expensive but all the ingredients are very fresh. Together, These items make a tasty meal by themselves

One entree was overcooked. The prices are inflated for the type of food served. Probably won’t return.

Drink, food and service all impressed! A great date night spot with a fantastic Greek inspired menu. Even better when the weather is night and you can enjoy your meal on the patio overlooking the city skyline. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful patio and elegant space. Amazing servers with very attentive bussers and food runners. Literally every happy hour food item was ordered and delicious. Must get the shrimp and saganaki apps. The salty cucumber cocktail is very refreshing.

This was our first visit. The decor is minimalist beige. The tables are very close together. The dining room was very loud, and it wasn't even full. The food was just OK and seemed overpriced for what was offered. The cocktails were tasty. Not sure we'll return, as we can get better Greek food at lower prices at a few other places in Milwaukee.

Went to brunch today and Sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine on a full upper patio. We enjoyed the view, service, food and drink. Highly recommend Avli for brunch, lunch dinner and Happy Hour.

We had reservations and there were plenty of tables upstairs but for whatever reason the hostess led us downstairs and proceeded to seat us against the wall to the ONLY table without a view! We thought we were being punished for something or that the hostess just didn’t like us for some reason. In my mind I think that they should eliminate that table and replace it with a fake tree or something. Anyway as soon as the waitress came she rectified the situation. The food was very good. The ambience lacks a little bit unless your seat faces the skyline which is so great but I realize they can’t make every seat face the window.
