The only negative, we listed on our reservation that we were celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary and a birthday and there was no acknowledgment by the staff.

First time at Averna and enjoyed our meal. Didn’t have their steak but solid appetizers of spicy tuna on fried crispy rice and an excellent buratta. Server pre-split our apps and the same for entrees. Very good bronzino and chicken martini. Very accommodating in my cocktail request and attentive service. Would definitely recommend and well be coming back.

This place was the nicest, most beautiful and elegant restaurant we ever visited. The food was exquisite. The personnel were friendly and polite. We truly recommend this restaurant. This is the ideal place to go and celebrate any special occasion.

First time at this restaurant. We pass it so often as we live in the area. We decided to try it. The food was very good, I had steak and my wife had the short ribs, we were both very happy with our meals. The prices were what you expect for a high quality steak house. We will surly return at a future date

Averna is a gem of a family-owned restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with genuinely friendly service. I sat at the bar, where Nick the bartender and owner’s son made my experience even better. The crispy tuna rice specials were outstanding—perfectly balanced and delicious. Highly recommend!

I'm a big pasta lover. this is my third time coming to Averna. and I have recommended this restaurant to everyone around me. the seasoning the taste the texture, down to the drinks are excruciating delicious. I'm also not a sea food person however m boyfriend ordered a salmon and it smelled so good I had to give it a taste. my first time ever in my life tasting fish and that as well was 10/10. ordering was easy, the vibes were very chill. I absolutely love it here.

The noise level was high, but that was mainly because of a single table of loud people close to us. Even so, it didn't diminish our very good experience. First rate steak, and top-level creamed spinach!

As soon as we were seated, the excellent service began. Immediately we were served water for the table and our drink order was taken. Within minutes the drinks (wine) arrived and the waiter announced the specials for the day. after a few moments the waiter returned and took our order. We started with Blue Point oysters and an order of escargot. The oysters were fresh, delicious, and came with the requested extra horse radish. The escargot was presented in the traditional way with a butter and herb sauce: excellent. There were many items on the menu that appealed to us including pasta and seafood, but we had a steak mindset. I ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare. It was perfectly prepared, juicy and melt in your mouth tender. it was as good as I've had in quite some time. My wife ordered the 8 oz. filet medium done and it was also cooked to order, tender and delicious. We shared a side order of grilled asparagus, very good. For dessert, we shared the pistachio tortufo which was good but not what we expected. we would stick to the regular tortufo in the future. I had an excellent cup of regular coffee and my wife had a decaf cappuccino. We were ,not at any time, hurried and the waiter and bus boy were attentive throughout. The prices were comparable to a New York Steakhouse, but deservedly so. This was our first time there and we will return soon,
