Vivre une expérience culinaire comme si vous étiez à Cannes ou à Nice n'a jamais aussi simple depuis l'ouverture du bistrot français et bar à aliments crus l'Avenue. Entre un repas à l'Avenue et sur la Côte d'Azur, il n'y a désormais plus qu'une seule différence qui subsiste : vos yeux contemplent toujours les vagues de l'Atlantique mais de l'autre côté. L'Avenue vous accueille sur ce rivage, en restant sur les côtes orientales du monde dont vous êtes familier, à Long Branch, dans le New Jersey. Le restaurant flambant neuf a été conçu par l'architecte de renommée internationale David Collins et le résultat de cette collaboration n'a pas fini d'impressionner.

We have had good experiences at Avenue in the past but this time the service was very poor. More than half an hour at the table until we got menus. We had to get up to get someone to take our order and they didn’t clear the table between courses. There was a wedding upstairs and the music reverberated downstairs so that you couldn’t have a conversation. But the main complaint is that at the end of the meal when we finally saw a manager and made her aware of the issues, there was no response at all or action taken. Very disappointing.

The food was fine The service was terrible - The servers were nice, but they just didn’t seem to have the bandwidth to handle the “crowd” that day - despite the fact that we had a planned reservation…there was a large party going on inside and the waitress seemed spread too thin. We purchased a dessert for my daughters birthday that took so long we decided to leave and had to search for someone to get the bill and cancel it.

Everything was wonderful except the bathrooms were not clean. I told an employee and when I came back 2 hours later it still wasn’t clean

Ce n'est pas le même restaurant. I was very disappointed in the service. As a regular summer patron the fact that the host changed was the clue it was going to be different. All I can say is diner beware and I recommend the bar or lounge area.

So disappointed this time We were there on time we were not seated till 30 minutes later then we ordered our dinner which took 1 hour to get Very disappointed at the service today Called manager twice to discuss as per his request never got back to me since then

we’ve been going there for years, and it really went down the hill. Food so so Service horrible energy nervous and rushed. Probably will never go again though the ocean view is beautiful.

Horrible service today. Food came out cold they forgot the cream in my son’s and husband’s French toast They forgot my husbands side of eggs and when it came out he was done eating. Barely saw our waiter the entire service. Will not be back.

I went in for brunch and I couldn’t be more impressed on the esthetic of this restaurant. The ocean view was also nice. I mean, that entire location is amazing. The food was very good and the portions were pretty big. My only complaint was the service. We ordered an Hor D'oeuvre and we never got it, instead we got the main course. Also part of my daughter dish was forgotten as well. We brought it up to the waitress and he apologized and took it out of the bill which we appreciate. But this probably could've been avoided if he was checking on the table as he disappear for quite some time.

Service was the biggest issue. It took us 45 minutes to get a cheeseburger and salmon. I ordered a cheeseburger, medium rare. It came out well done , also went there for happy hour which we seen on the website and it ended at 6 PM instead of all night
