Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.

Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.

We were lucky enough to spend our 10th anniversary at this lovely establishment. The service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. the food was imaginative, delicious and thoughtfully created. The price point was a bit higher than what we would generally pay, but for a special occasion, it was worth every penny. Highly recommend for vegans and non-vegans alike.

This was my third time dining at Avelo. As usual, the food was delicious, creative, and fun; the standout dish for us was a garden-themed crudité. The waitstaff were knowledgeable and attentive, and the ambience was beautiful. Thank you Avelo for making my birthday feel so special!

Our server greeted us with kindness and enthusiasm for the experience that was ahead of us. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting and pairing menu. We would highly recommend Avelo and look forward to coming back at a future date. A one of a kind experience. Our immense gratitude to the chefs!

We had a wonderful dining experience celebrating a milestone birthday! Friendly and attentive service, with creative and delicious food. Easily one of the top 10 best places we have ever visited!

What a wonderful and delicious dining experience. Service was outstanding and the food exceeded our expectations. We are from the states, I wish we had something similar in Philadelphia and will definitely dine here again when we return. Lovely evening and wonderful dining experience Highly recommended.

Amazing experience! We really appreciate being given the window seat for my partners birthday, the restaurant was full and they still saved the best seat for a special occasion. Truly made our night. Food was exceptional, wine pairing is worth it. Experience was 2.5 hour roughly. Servers are all kind and informative, will be coming back for sure! :)

I had the 5 course tasting menu, the flavors and presentation were both outstanding. Fantastic warm and knowledgeable service, each dish’s ingredients and the techniques used to produce them were described in great detail.
