   We have dined here several times before and will come back again. The room is beautiful, the service was excellent and the food is delicious with generous portions (even if ordering the small sizes). Please put falafel on the lunch menu :)

   I mentioned that it was my third anniversary with my girlfriend, and they didn’t seem to care at all. I’m not asking for a free dessert or something super extravagant, however for a upscale pricey restaurant I expect better. We did not get a card, a wish, or any sort of mention of the celebration. Our waiter was a nice person but was completely uninterested in serving us throughout the night. Very cut and dry experience. With all this being said, I get that people have bad days at work and sometimes you forget things. However, I would hope that Avec would put a little more consideration towards their customers, especially on Saturday nights and special events. The food was excellent and the dessert was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the service can sometimes make or break a meal. It might come off as an ungrateful review, but if I am paying $300 for a meal for two people, I expect great service in return (or at least someone who cares)!!

   Service was excellent. Food was phenomenal. Cocktails hit and are incredibly thoughtful. The space is gorgeous. 10/10 can’t wait to go back!!!

   Wow. We’ve been visiting Chicago for 40 years (we live in NYC, but wife is a native) and this is one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Great, distinctive food, and a really attentive server (Graham) who gave us a helpful overview of the menu and steered us away from over-ordering. The half-price wine on Tuesday was an added plus. Just a great experience. We’re looking forward to a return visit.

   Food was interesting and delicious as always. My one complaint is the size of the martinis. Come on, it doesn’t cost much to fill the glass.
