Ava's St. Michaels takes limited reservations. The best way to get a table is our Call-Ahead Waitlist. Please call us at 410-745-3081 about an hour before you arrive and we'll text you when your table is ready. If you plan to "dine with your dog" on our patio, please call ahead even with an Open Table reservation. There is a two-dog limit at any given time.

Please let us know if your party has any mobility issues.

Creative Italian dining featuring hand-crafted pizzas, pasta, and unique "Ava's fare" is on the menu at this cozy find. The original Ava’s is located in the heart of St. Michael’s in a cleverly adapted historical home once known for Jimmy Jump's goose-picking service.

The dog-friendly back patio is available for dining in all four seasons, featuring a retractable roof, fireplaces, and a beer tap waterfall.

Pizza and Pasta Bolognese were excellent. Penne A La Vodka was so-so. However, we ordered 2 pizza's and 3 dinners. EVERYTHING was brought out all at once. We mentioned it to the waitress and she just looked at us and moved on. By the time we finished our pizza our macaroni was so cold. Had to send back and reheat it. Cook did come out to see if everything was better but very disappointed with the service. Pizza is excellent.

Faith was an amazing server so as the other staff, will definitely come back to Ava’s! Very delicious food too!

Great pizza - I had the mushroom tart. Very flavorful. Friendly staff and prompt service. Nice atmosphere.

The food was good enough, server was nice, although our dirty plates and glasses weren’t removed during our entire meal. The table was super small and very crowded. They have little fans to keep flies away, which I appreciate, however the table wasn’t big enough to even accommodate those. I would have loved to have been offered fresh parm for my food. Despite a pretty open area on the patio when we arrived, we were seated at a table about a foot away from another couple. This was WAY too close for any kind of meaningful conversation. On the OTHER side of our table was an open window to the parking lot where the servers and bussers run food back and forth between the kitchen and dining room. Also, cars and people in and out of the parking lot constantly. There was just not enough of a positive experience to offset the negative. I really felt like they had ZERO interest in us at all. Sadly, the meatballs are not enough for us to return.

We have been to Ava’s in Rehoboth multiple times. St. Michael’s has same menu and same great service and food. Love both!
