Our casual restaurant and bar focuses on authentic dishes from our favourite regions of Spain, Italy and Portugal. We hunt out only the finest quality ingredients and serve them in the same way the locals would in the regions they originate. We believe in letting the quality of the ingredients shine through by trying to keep things as uncomplicated as possible. We are a dog friendly restaurant in our garden and downstairs bar area. Please ensure you mention if you are bringing a dog as we will ensure the correct area is allocated. Thank you for your understanding.

We are now open on Mondays, serving our homemade stone baked pizza during lunch and in the evening.

Full menu available Tuesday to Sunday during lunch and in the evening.

Our suppliers are amongst the very best in the UK, importing regional delicacies used by the finest restaurants in the UK. Our fish, seafood, fruit and vegetables are all delivered fresh each day from local suppliers.

Restaurant lovely and staff both welcoming and attentive. Kids meals - pasta (not on the menu) and pizza were great. Steak Frites OK (not a great piece of meat). Tuna terrible- first one over cooked and chewy (despite menu saying it's served pink) - second one not seared and dark too salty! Would probably go back if in the area agin, but would choose more studiously from the menu.

Wonderful meal last night at Avanti. Shared the king prawn starter & then I had the tuna. The food was fabulous. I definitely recommend a visit if you are in Kirkby Lonsdale. Great food & relaxing atmosphere.

Excellent food, service, very friendly staff. Good choice of tapas or main courses. Nice atmosphere with some great background music.

What can I say but this was a truly disappointing experience & completely ruined my wife's birthday!We had booked a table 3 weeks prior to the date & were looking forward to an enjoyable evening with 4 friends. The meal was booked for 7.15 & we were initially surprised when it took 20 minutes before our drinks order was taken. Time then passed on & at 8.10 , mo one had made any attempt to take our meal order. The restaurant appeared busy & there was no sign of any genuine organisation or any member of staff with any visible authority. A member of our party enquired at the bar about this delay & was met with total indifference with no apology offered or idea when we would actually be attended to. At this point we already had a bottle of wine & 3 beers costing £35 App . We waited another 10 minutes but no one approached us with some form of explanation. We were all totally amazed as this is usually where an apology is given & some kind of consolation offered. We subsequently told staff that we would be leaving as there was no sign of getting our meals but they insisted on full payment with no discount whatsoever. Again, there was no apology & it really was a shambles. We then had to look very quickly at other restaurants as it was getting quite late. All members of our party agreed that we wouldn't be visiting Avanti ever again - there wasn't a senior member of staff present to deal with such a situation.

We had an issue with the main course and the selection was quickly and efficiently replaced with no fuss. A very professional restaurant.

we have been to avanti every time we visit kirkby lonsdale. . we have never been disappointed . thanks so much . especially as a gluten free diner . staff are amazing xx
