At Austin's, we've been cooking the old fashioned way since 1994. We start with the freshest ingredients we can find, delivered to our kitchen each day of the week. We make everything on our menu from scratch, every day. We grill over hardwood, not gas, the way that it was a long time ago. It may not be the fastest or least expensive way to do business, but for us, it is the only way. We want each meal you enjoy with us to be a memorable and delicious one; so we work hard preparing each dish to order, smoking ribs and brisket, filleting fresh fish, hand cutting steaks, preparing homemade soups daily and baking our fresh breads and desserts. Its a difference you can taste and one we hope you will keep coming back for. At Austin's, everything we do, we do because our customers deserve it. We will always insist on a level of service and quality that helps us deserve you.

Steaks and Such

We serve only Black Angus or USDA Prime beef. Prime beef is the highest USDA beef grade and is the best quality of beef you can find. It is tender and juicy because of the marbling (fat), and has a rich meaty flavor. Hand cut in-house, seasoned with Austin's 5~spice blend and finished with our steak butter. Our steaks are at their best when cooked to a medium rare or medium temperature. Steaks include a choice of potato and today's vegetable

The food and service were excellent at Austin's in Mentor. Our table was ready as promised. There were six of us in the dinner party and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The wine pours are generous. The prices are reasonable. Our server was excellent. An owner or manager stopped by the table to see if we were enjoying our visit and thanked us for coming. It is noisy but still comfortable. I will be back!!

My wife ordered the Prime Rib and I had the attender loin Tips. Both were outstanding, done perfectly. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Will go back, their menu has a lot to choose from.

Mac and cheese was gritty and bland. Brussel sprouts were bland. One steak over salted, one under salted, but the cook was spot on. Texas brisket was flavorless beyond the light smoke that had a bitter after taste. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. For the price point, would expect better. Would be unlikely to return.

Our server was very attentive from the moment we sat down. We had 2 appetizers, the wings and stuffed mushrooms, which were both delicious. I had broccoli cheddar soup and salmon, while my fiancé had the prime rib sandwich. Both our meals were great! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

The food, drinks and service was absolutely the best. We had a great time spending our 33 anniversary at Austin Grill. Can’t wait till we can return.

My husband ordered the petite filet, baked potato and broccoli. I ordered the salmon, baked potato and broccoli. Both were excellent. We also the peach cobbler seasonal dessert and it was great too. Always enjoy going there for dinner.
