Gave us a free desert for food taking a while to come out even though it only took like 20 minutes. Great experience

My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at Austin’s. The food was good but I think it was not great. Probably due to the very busy night. Drinks were good though and we did have a nice date.

Here in Fort Collins for a few short days and tried out Austin’s - it was wonderful!! Cute part of town, lights magically hung on the trees and the food at Austin’s was great! The brussel sprouts are the best I’ve had! Any VB place that offers sweet potato fries makes me happy. And the chicken tortilla soup was excellent! Great night!

Austin’s always has great food and wonderful ambience. We were there on Christmas Eve eve. The place was lively, but the service was still very good.

Sadly this was not a good experience at Austin’s. We have always had a very positive experience in the past and felt like Austin’s was more upscale. We flew into town to spend Christmas with our daughter and made a reservation for four a couple nights before Christmas. We were placed at a table in the back that was so wobbly you wouldn’t have been able to eat on it. When I questioned the host as to a different table, possibly a booth in the front we were used too. I was told that there wasn’t a server in that area for another 15 minutes. I told them we would be happy to wait for service if we could be moved. He told me he would come and fix the table. He promptly came over and shoved cardboard underneath it, put his hands on the table and then said fixed and walked away. I almost got up and walked out, but did not want to ruin dinner. After our meal, which was unfortunately subpar compared to our previous experiences. I ordered my bison meatloaf with no spicy ketchup. When my meal arrived covered in spicy ketchup, the server looked annoyed I even asked for it to be fixed. I’m pretty sure all they did was scrape it off and throw it in the microwave because it came back dry as a bone. After we finished, we gathered up the plates and silverware to hand to the server thinking we were helping, he then picked the forks back up off the plate, and dropped them on the table, and walked away. It was just a very disappointing evening.

Bison meatloaf was way over cooked. Lost all of its flavor. If not for the ketchup topping it would have been terrible. The chicken on my wife’s salad was likewise overcooked. It came out dry. Restaurant manager spoke to us, explaining that that was how they cooked the food, so what we experienced wasn’t inadvertent. Experience was disappointing

We had an Amazing Dinner Experience last night! The downtown lights were twinkling through the window as we enjoyed the fresh rotisserie chicken platter and a the best burger ever! Our beautiful tall thin waitress was the BEST! (sorry we didn’t catch her name)
