Welcome to Aurum Food & Wine Aspen Snowmass! We're honored to be a part of the Aspen and Snowmass Base Village communities. We're excited to share our brand of enlightened hospitality, offering a classic take on Seasonal New American Cuisine. Located slope-side on Carriage Way, this elegantly casual space features a luxurious lounge, intimate indoor dining, an outdoor patio with two large fire pits, and a private dining room for parties of up to 16 guests.

We were the last table seated on Christmas day with a 7:45 reservation. It was probably an additional 10 or so minutes before we were seated, which is fine and we were presented menus and drink list. We felt they were pushing the table to get complete orders so they could close up for the night, we were happy to accommodate their need as I am a retired executive chef with 47 years in the industry and restaurant ownership as part of my résumé we went with the Christmas specials for half our table and expected at $60 for the entrée to be an exceptional cut of prime rib what we got was a piece of leather The rib surface was heavily seared on the outside and was overly dry as it had probably been the last bit of prime rib that have been sitting around in the kitchen since service started for the evening meal it looked and tasted as such . And the entrées were served lukewarm at best and the plates were not hot for plating as the plates were not cold for cold items either. The sides were minuscule at best. The brussels sprouts were just short of being charred inedible ,carrots were also charred and tasteless as where the mushrooms over sautéed as if they had been sitting for quite some time. Mashers = scraping of the very bottom of the bowl, served on cold plates with lukewarm warm food, everything about the meal of our entrées was absolutely disgusting especially for a $60 a pop The soup was fine actually probably the best part of the meal which my adult daughter ordered. The salad was fine. It was not a wedge salad as advertised on the menu and dressing was so sparse, and we had to request additional dressing not really a problem just a personal preference. The oysters we ordered were not very fresh nor briney and it was like they had been sitting in water before they had been shucked. no one minds a bit of shell in our oysters , that would be normal, but when your oysters tend to taste like a sandbox. Overall it was a $500 waste of a night go elsewhere

Great food! Our best dinner in Snowmass so far! Table reservations were easy on open Table.

My husband and I had the carrot and parsnip soup, chili and split the French onion burger. All were delicious! All of the servers were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

The best dining in Snowmass! Food was more than excellent— we had the filet mignon, tuna filet, and the trout! Highly recommend the bread! Our server was precious— ask for the server from Argentina! We were celebrating a birthday & they made the birthday feel so special with a birthday song, cookies, and a signed card from all employees. BEST EXPERIENCE!

Good points- my vegetarian cauliflower starter was fantastic - a very generous portion. My carrot soup entree was fine, but nothing special. My brother ordered the lettuce cups to start with and before he had finished it, his entree was brought. He became somewhat confused and distressed (he is elderly) because he thought he was in the wrong. I asked the staff to take his entree back until he had finished his starter. Then my soup was brought which meant it was cold by the time his entree came. The timing was completely wrong and spoiled our visit unfortunately - there was really no excuse for it. The staff could clearly see that my brother was only half way through his starter before they brought the entree - it was very unpleasant. He ended up ordering a dessert he didn't want to 'make up for' 'causing trouble' to the staff. Unfortunately, the avocado cheesecake was also not a success.

Awesome ambience, food and drinks! The restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. My husband had the best trout he’s ever had and my Moroccan chicken was superb. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious as well! Our waiter, Andrew, was fantastic as was the rest of the staff! We will be back!!

We went back to Aurum to give them another try and are so happy we did! The service was great and our drinks were so good! My husband said it was the best Old Fashioned he has had. Great cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor.
