                                                                  Staff were great very attentive and informative .Food was delicious and the fries were amazing 🤩Risotto was perfect the flavours were amazing .Great experience and Will definitely return .The cocktails were just has fantastic . All in all perfect evening and will definitely be returning . Well done everyone made our evening a very enjoyable one .

                                                                  Sunday lunch was disappointing, used to come here regular when it was the Culley’s Sunday lunch and now it’s changed it’s not half as nice. The meat was very tough, there was a small amount of gravy given, no pigs and blankets and roast parsnips like there used to be either. Had to pay £22.50 for what seemed a very small portion in comparison to the old Sunday lunch or you could have 2 courses for £25 but even then the variety of starters and dessert we’re disappointing as it wasn’t variety or much to offer. Personally won’t be returning the new Aura due to these factors. Disappointing as Culley’s was lovely!! Also had to pay for water which we were not told had to be paid for as it was offered as complimentary. The service charge was very expensive aswell at £19 which just seemed very high for a charge considering the food was very expensive anyway.

                                                                  Booking was easy on the website and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. We have been visiting the Coal Exchange since it originally opened, really impressed by the new decor. Our server Billie was friendly and efficient and a real nice guy, all staff were attentive and friendly. We shared a starter (pate with warm chargrilled sourdough and salad, with followed by a Sunday roast, the food was perfectly cooked and delicious and served on warm plates. A great selection of wine and drinks available. We just missed the live singer but good music was playing resulting in a great vibe. We will visit again very soon!

We used to come here when it was culleys and that was lovely and cost less. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but wouldn’t come back on a regular basis, it would be for a more special occasion

                                                                  Exceptional roast dinner at Aura, all set in a fabulous historic building. The food was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection, with excellent roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds, we had a good amount of crackling with the pork and the gravy was amazing. Great service from Billy and the team, shall definitely be going back again soon!

                                                                  Newly renovated lots of staff very attentive and anything to help you enjoy the visit. The waiter noticed a couple taking selfies and photos of their food and asked if he could take the photos for them. Food was top class, Sunday roast beef and the chicken were both exceptional as was the side dishes - all in all a very pleasant visit throughly enjoyed the food.

                                                                  Outstanding food. We had the lamb and it was gorgeous. The sides were very well crafted and were very balanced against the lamb. Would be interesting to see how there would pair weigh other dishes. Crème brûlée was stunning…..silky smooth with a lovely crunch! The only negative was that I felt a little cold, that said I was wearing short sleeves so that could have been avoided on my part

                                                                  The best Sunday lunch in Cardiff! Service was great, live music on a Sunday afternoon which really added to the atmosphere. Will definitely recommend.
