Join us at Aunt Jake's Upper East Side for our Pasta Making Class & 3-course pasta menu! The cost is $60 per person for pasta instruction and the prefix meal. We require a $10 per person non-refundable deposit.
The entire experience is approximately 2.5 hours.

Aunt Jake's was founded in 2015, as the company set out to replicate the idyllic, simplistic cuisine we grew up to enjoy. However, we wanted to create Italian food for the “next” generation. The idea was to develop an Italian concept around the customer’s choice of how to eat pasta compared to how the restaurant wanted you to eat it. With that in mind, Aunt Jake’s core mission is to bring high-quality fresh ingredients daily to craft our handmade pasta and sauces health-consciously. The customer can mix and match sauce with shape and create a custom dish of their own.

"HOW TO MAKE PASTA" CLASS & 3-COURSE MENU Learn how to make pasta in this immersive and exciting new experience at Aunt Jake's, a beloved neighborhood gem! Our dedicated instructors will take you on a journey to learn those shapes may have eaten before, but never made by hand. After the class, indulge in a delicious 3 course prefix dinner. From start to finish the class and dinner are 2.5-3 hours. We require a $10 per person non-refundable deposit. ****If you need to reschedule or cancel the reservation, your $10 deposit will be forfeited**** For best results, please use the OpenTable mobile app to book. Third party facilitators will be charged full price for no shows.

My friends and I recently attended an amazing pasta-making class at Aunt Jake’s with the incredible Chef Anthony, and it was such a fun and memorable experience! Chef Anthony not only taught us how to make pasta from scratch but also kept the whole class laughing throughout. His humor was the perfect touch, making the learning process even more enjoyable. He had everyone smiling as he shared tips, tricks, and a few hilarious stories from his time in the kitchen. The hands-on part of the class was a blast! We learned how to make pasta dough, roll it out, and shape it into beautiful creations. Chef Anthony’s clear instructions and funny anecdotes made it feel effortless, even for us beginners. We also ordered separate dishes, which were delicious, and got to take home the pasta we made to cook later. The pasta, drinks, and dessert we enjoyed at the end of the class were the perfect reward for all our hard work. The warm, welcoming atmosphere at Aunt Jake’s, combined with Chef Anthony’s lively personality, created an unforgettable evening. If you’re looking for a fun night out that’s both entertaining and educational, I can’t recommend this class enough. Chef Anthony’s humor and expert guidance made the experience even more enjoyable.

A really fun, entertaining and education experience. Our instructor was great and was cracking jokes the whole time. That pasta making was easy to follow and yielded great results. The dinner afterwords was also out of this world. Awesome value for all the stuff you get.

My partner and I had an amazing time at this pasta-making class for our date night! The experience was both fun and interactive, and we loved learning how to make pasta from scratch together. The instructor Anthony was fantastic—so knowledgeable and made everything easy to follow. The class had a great atmosphere, perfect for couples, and it was such a joy to share this hands-on activity. Plus, the pasta we made was absolutely delicious! It was a unique and memorable date night, and we can’t wait to try making pasta at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and creative date idea!

The chef who taught the class, Anthony, was great! We laughed a lot, enjoyed some wine, and ate a ton of amazing food. You also take home so much fresh homemade pasta from the class to have meals for days! Definitely recommend.

My daughter and I booked the pasta-making experience at Aunt Jake’s and had an amazing time! The service was warm and efficient, and we were quickly seated and guided through the process. After ordering from the prix fixe menu, we dove into the class, making pasta from scratch and crafting four different types with pre-rolled sheets. We got to take our pasta home and enjoyed a delicious lunch afterward. The teacher chef was funny and engaging, and the ambiance was perfect for groups, couples, or families. Great value and highly recommended!

Great experience. Service and pasta making instruction was excellent. Friendly staff. Great value in that you have a nice meal while there and you get to bring home the pasta you made for another meal at home. The buratta was delicious as was the broken meatball sauce and the pesto! Our only complaint was that we wish they had a bigger space. The seating and pasta making stations are very tight and because the ceilings are low, there’s not great airflow. Otherwise a fun night!

I purchased the pasta making experience as part of my fiancé’s Christmas present. He loves good fresh Italian food and Aunt Jake’s did not disappoint. The food was amazing the class was very explanatory and easy to follow. This is an exceptional value. I will say the only down side is that the space to work and learn is a little tight but hey most places in NYC are. If you are looking for delicious pasta and an amazing experience Aunt Jake’s is for you!
