Join us at Aunt Jake's Upper East Side for our Pasta Making Class & 3-course pasta menu! The cost is $60 per person for pasta instruction and the prefix meal. We require a $10 per person non-refundable deposit.

Aunt Jake's was founded in 2015, as the company set out to replicate the idyllic, simplistic cuisine we grew up to enjoy. However, we wanted to create Italian food for the “next” generation. The idea was to develop an Italian concept around the customer’s choice of how to eat pasta compared to how the restaurant wanted you to eat it. With that in mind, Aunt Jake’s core mission is to bring high-quality fresh ingredients daily to craft our handmade pasta and sauces health-consciously. The customer can mix and match sauce with shape and create a custom dish of their own.

    "HOW TO MAKE PASTA" CLASS & 3-COURSE MENU Learn how to make pasta in this immersive and exciting new experience at Aunt Jake's, a beloved neighborhood gem! Our dedicated instructors will take you on a journey to learn those shapes may have eaten before, but never made by hand. After the class, indulge in a delicious 3 course prefix dinner. From start to finish the class and dinner are 2.5-3 hours. We require a $10 per person non-refundable deposit. ****If you need to reschedule or cancel the reservation, your $10 deposit will be forfeited**** For best results, please use the OpenTable mobile app to book. Third party facilitators will be charged full price for no shows.

    This was such an amazing experience. The food was delicious. The class was so much fun. I literally couldn’t eat everything, was so full. I totally recommend this. This was such a great date. My husband and I definitely enjoyed ourselves.

    We had the best time! The instructors were fabulous, fun, and entertaining. We made various pasta with great instructions with Jason and crew. Such a fun experience especially on a fun girls trip. The food was delicious definitely get your moneys worth. We’ve never did a pasta making class and what I neat experience in NYC. The chef came around and spoke to us a few times. Not overwhelming, so it seemed more private. We would definitely recommend this!

    I recently attended the pasta class with a friend and we had a fantastic time overall. The food was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. However, I must mention that the cocktails weren't quite up to our expectations. One thing I would suggest for improvement is to have a policy against filming the class without everyone's consent. There was someone filming, which made my friend and me uncomfortable since we prefer not to appear in videos and often attend such classes for a social media detox. It would be great if this aspect could be managed better in the future. Apart from that, everything else about the experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was lively, the instructors were knowledgeable and engaging, and we learned a lot. I would definitely recommend this class to others looking to have fun and learn something new in the kitchen!

    It was a tad too loud for my taste. The instructor had to yell over the other guests who were finishing their meals from the last experience they hosted. I think everyone came hungry and it would have been nice if we would have been able to make our dough, then have our appetizers before we came back to the table to learn the shapes. The time from our arrival to our appetizers was 2 hours. Most people ended up eating a few bites of dinner when it finally came and took the rest home because we waited so long to eat. The appetizers (meatballs for my guy) was under seasoned the (three lettuce salad for me) was pretty good but could have used more dressing. The chicken Parmesiana special (auto correct) was delicious and a huge portion for me as well as the lemon chicken looked amazing (my guys food) tasted great and was a bigger portion than we expected. All around the food and desert were good. The experience was amazing. Love it & would 100% do it again. The instructor was nice and even took out a little extra time to help those who couldn’t get it (can’t remember his name) also gave us instructions and pointers on how to make other shapes out of the dough we made and even a flat bread pizza. Can’t complain about the experience at all. The chef came out and was also interactive with the experience and showed me how to make 2 extra shapes out of the dough. We came home with so much pasta we could have a couple of ppl over for dinner for a pasta night next week and still have leftovers.

    This is our second time back and we loved it. The staff and chef are amazing. Food was delicious. We had an awesome group. Could not say enough good things about this place. Will definitely be back!

    Pasta making experience was fun! Big portions, only thing I’d say was that the dinner entrees were only 7/10 and the dessert was 4/10

    If you're looking for a pasta-making class, do this one. HIGHLIGHTS: (1) Anthony (our instructor) was hilarious and helpful, so even if cooking isn't you're thing the vibe is fun (2) you bring home the pasta you make and eat theirs, so terrible chef or not you'll have a great dinner (3) you get to meet the other people in the class. TO NOTE: (1) When we got there, there was little instruction on what was going on, and we had to wait ~30 minutes in a crowded space before starting cooking. We were worried the whole night would be this haphazard, but it was not. So just be patient at first and get a drink. (2) You cook first, then eat. So if your res is at 7:45 pm, you're not going to eat until 9 pm at the earliest. If you want to eat earlier then do the earlier time slots.
