The owners of Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn, Italian Kitchen & Legendary Desserts decided to bring their concept to a new location in Marlboro, New Jersey located at 430 Route 9 North. The concept for this restaurant is to create the same family-oriented atmosphere as is offered in the Staten Island location. The vision for this location is based solely on renovating an existing space into something new and fresh. This restaurant is designed with love while incorporating rich, rustic materials balanced with sleek, clean, contemporary elements.
Aunt Butchie’s looks forward to establishing new relationships in this location and enticing consumers to enjoy this “Home Away From Home” concept. This old world with a twist of contemporary concept channels through every aspect of the restaurant, from the decor to the recipes.

Our waitress was Gabby. She was fantastic. She was very personable and always smiling. She was very attentive to our table. She really made our experience enjoyable. The table next to us was a bit loud, but i am sure we have all been loud from time to time. It seemed that everyone was enjoying the night. There was four of us, each ordering a different dish. All delicious!!

Everything was ok, nothing to rush back to but no complaints. Did not like that fact that they wanted to charge extra to put marinara on pasta instead of marsala sauce. Eggplant had way too much breading. Veal was a little tough... Chicken parm, Lemon chicken, appetizers and deserts were very good though.

We came for the $12 pasta special . There was a wide variety on the menu of interesting pastas. We got the lobster ravioli with shrimp , penne vodka and orichette with broccoli rabe . All were very tasty and large portions. The bread was nice with a delicious oil dip . The Server was very attentive with filling the water and replenishing the bread . We enjoyed our visit to Aunt Butchies.

Food was delicious as we ordered fried calamari and muscles with marinara sauce for appetizers and veal Marsala and grilled chicken with broccoli rabe for entrees then a chocolate moose cake for dessert. Service was exceptional with the kind staff.

Great food and service. It was loud when we first sat down especially as we were seated next to a large table with a loud crying baby. Would’ve been more enjoyable if the parent had taken the baby out of the dining room. Luckily they were on dessert so once they left it was an enjoyable night.
