The owners of Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn, Italian Kitchen & Legendary Desserts decided to bring their concept to a new location in Marlboro, New Jersey located at 430 Route 9 North. The concept for this restaurant is to create the same family-oriented atmosphere as is offered in the Staten Island location. The vision for this location is based solely on renovating an existing space into something new and fresh. This restaurant is designed with love while incorporating rich, rustic materials balanced with sleek, clean, contemporary elements.
Aunt Butchie’s looks forward to establishing new relationships in this location and enticing consumers to enjoy this “Home Away From Home” concept. This old world with a twist of contemporary concept channels through every aspect of the restaurant, from the decor to the recipes.

Food was very good. Service was excellent. The noise level was horrific. We had shout at each other just to be heard.

Food was excellent! The sea bass special on a risotto was outstanding. The waitress was very attentive. Overall great experience!

Food was over priced, ie 20 salad, really? sauce was bland, loud restaurant and baby crying. I don’t plan to ever go back.

Very good food. Excellent service. Not crowded. Provided birthday candle for my girlfriend for us to sing happy birthday. Loved it

We came in for the Mother's Day lunch because there were no reservations available in any of our favorite restaurants, so we decided it was a great opportunity to explore. Our first impressions as we walked in were that there were tables on top of each other and chairs at neighboring tables making people fight for seating space. It was very loud. There was a door to the backyard right behind my chair, which I had not noticed when we were seated. It was chilly and raining, and there were no tables outside there, but people were going in and out poking my chair and getting cold air in, so I had to put my jacket on. The choice of food was limited and the quality was lacking. Service was OK but not exceptional. I asked for my steak medium well but I got medium rare with blood pouring out. I could not eat it. The risotto was mushy and I did not like it either. I was looking for a glass of wine but it turned out they sell wine either as 1/2 bottle or bottle, which is too much for me, so I had to have water instead. I wanted to have a Mother's Day pre-fix and my husband wanted to have a la cart meal, but we were told that if we want pre-fix menu, we need to both take it. Napoleon dessert was all hard cream, worst I've ever tasted. We won't be back.

We went to Aunt Butchie’s for Mother’s Day for 11 am lunch. Food was great. Service was very good. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Always a good sign when utensils are switched out between courses. Portion size was very good as well. Two minor flaws though that are easily correctable with awareness and training. The remaining appetizers were being removed without asking if we were done. The bus boys or runners were removing dining ware or placing food really close and over people’s heads. Somewhat intrusive. Could’ve went to the side of people or between people to do the same job. Overall, a great time and would definitely go back. Highly recommend!

It took them to count chairs for 10 mins, food was cold, they forget to make one of the meals in our party and as everyone was finished they sent out a chicken parm sandwich that was cold! Never again
