A husband and wife team, Marc Taxiera and Brianne Myers combine their talents and love for the restaurant business. Marc in the kitchen and Brianne in the front of house, they have spent decades refining their craft at some of the most iconic restaurants in the city; now bringing their passion to Westchester.
Chef Marcs’ resume includes Executive Chef of the acclaimed Russian Tea room and the ultra-seasonal Beppe restaurant.
Brianne has been the General Manager of iconic places like Eataly, BLT Steak, and the renowned Loring Place - to name a few.
Augustine’s will be Chef Marc’s shining example of his ability to source local and seasonal ingredients. Finding his passion while in culinary school, his vision for his own restaurant continued to grow throughout his career. His philosophy is simple; take the best raw ingredients you can source and showcase them with minimal processing.

Food is always top-notch. Waitress was a bit slow getting drinks, but aside from that the place is still excellent.

This has been our second visit and it was even better than the first (which I think was soon after it opened). Cocktails were interesting and when one didn’t strike my husband’s fancy it was no issue getting a replacement. Food was wonderful - amazing mortadella, vibrant pea salad, linguini Nero with clams and lamb neck pasta has amazing sauces. And the service was second to none!

Excellent restaurant that would also would be considered excellent in heart of Manhattan. Great service and overall hospitality. Creative menu with frequent new special options. Favorite place in Westchester.

My Husband and I had the prosciutto, hootenanny cheese, caico de Pepe zeppoles and fried zucchini flowers to start with the Gin-gin situation and the Fairy Godmother cocktails. I had the pork chop with potatoes and broccoli rabe with a lovely Chianti My husband had the clams with squid linguini with dry white wine We shared the semifrido for dessert. It was a truly a perfect meal from start to finish. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Chef Marc and Brianne are a fantastic team. He makes magic in the kitchen and Bri is a first class manager who makes every guest feel like family. Service is terrific and Sam adds her wonderful personality to every cocktail she presents.

We have been here 4 times and always enjoyed every bit of the food, the personal care by servers and the mellow, unhurried atmosphere. We’ve brought our teenagers, our parents (some with mobility issues), and our friends and all have enjoyed their experience. Brunch is fantastic with unique options, dinner is well paced and tasty. We travel about 30 minutes (which is the same amount of time it would take us to get to Arthur Ave) but choose this when we want upscale and unique Italian food.

Another incredible dinner at Augustine’s where not only the food but ambiance created the perfect backdrop for catching up with friends. Notable dishes included lobster corn dogs, pea shoots salad with watermelon and smoked yogurt dressing, duck with black lentils and pomegranate reduction and perfectly cooked lamb chops. The pastas were outstanding showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients. Big shout out to the bartender for introducing us to a summery spin on an aperol spritz using ambrosia!

This was our first visit to Augustine's Salumeria. We'd heard good reviews but had hesitated to go because the menu appeared rather limited for us (based on personal preferences). We were very glad we decided to try it. Everything we ordered was excellent (snap pea salad, linguine nero and risotto-style faro (with shrimp, asparagus and mushrooms). Service was excellent (e.g., filling water glasses regularly, replacing used silverware (not every restaurant does that), friendly and helpful staff. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food.
