This was my first time going to this restaurant and I heard great things about the food so decided to take a chance. I arrived and saw quite a bit of people outside and enjoying their meals in the brightly lit terrace. I was immediately greeted by the hostess, and she took me inside to my seat by the window. It was a very loud evening with two large groups of guys celebrating birthdays, who honestly could not handle their liquor as they were so loud and obnoxious that they didn’t have a care in the world for the other People who were trying to enjoy a nice evening out, you couldn’t even have a decent conversation due to both tables, yelling, and out talking and next. It seem to be they were acquainted with the staff so to them it didn’t matter since they were spending lots of money in my opinion, I sat there for a good 10 minutes, having waiters walk by not even acknowledging me, which was unacceptable in my opinion. However, a new table with three people arrived after, and they were immediately greeted and offered water where I was still waiting. Finally, one of the waiters woke up and asked, if I was ready to order? I told him immediately first it would be nice to be acknowledged that I’ve been here for over 10 minutes and nothing and not even offered water were the other table was already offered and provided that so I did not start off positive. I ordered my drink which was a spicy G which took a while to be provided, but that was OK. I glanced over the menu. Many good things to choose from then I chose to appetizers to see how things would go from there. The appetizers arrived with freshly baked pita bread, which was very delicious. Both appetizers or one of the best one was the baba ghanoush very smoky and the other was Suk, which was excellent with peppers. The waiter did not seem to come by much as he figured. I was only one person which I find very disappointing in a restaurant not very attentive

The potato appetizer was like eating delicious pillows of potato…crispy outside and so soft and delicate inside. Excellent. The octopus, though, was the best we’d ever had, and a true treat.

I had a great meal, service was very good and portion sizes and food was fantastic. I think the ambience needed some work as we had some very loud people talking next to us, I think some music would have helped soften the ambience. The style of the restaurant was great, it’s bright and warm and inviting! Overall very good value for money and will be coming back.

The food, ambiance and service is excellent! I had a birthday dinner with 5 friends who had never eaten there and they all raved about the food. The octopus meal is exceptional!

We had an amazing meal only suggestion is offer rice or something other than fries with the kabobs. Otherwise food was great service was exceptional.

Really good food, wine, and service! Was busy and we sat next to a large group but it wasn’t noisy at all…would got back for sure!

Had a wonderful meal and experience at Au Liban. Ordered the trio dip and a few hot mezza dishes and a salad to share. Everything was wonderful. Lots of options for gluten free, as well. Unsure of the names of the dishes but cherry meatballs and one of the sausage dishes were both excellent. Waitress was very helpful even though it was clear she was very busy. Highly recommend!

Falafel plate had tomatoes that were green, not even orange, let aline ripe. Lettuce pieces were old and brown at the edges.
