    As per usually we had a lively time :) the food was excellent. And so were the drinks. The service was amazing as well

    With very limited fine dining options in the Langley area we decided to give it a try. Being used to having to make reservations a week or two (or more) for the likes of downtown's Joe Fortes, Elisa, Cioppino's, etc - we were pleasantly surprised that we could actually get in there the same day (a Saturday night). From first steps inside, we felt the vibe of an upscale setting and it didn't disappoint. From being greeted and seated to a personable server and very knowledgeable sommelier - it felt like we were downtown Vancouver. The menu is very nice with options for different tastes. Excellent selection of appy's. Our table enjoyed crab cakes, caesar salads, and carpaccio...all very good. For mains we all chose steaks; Tenderloins and NY Striploin. What we didn't know is that Atlas use a mesquite-fired Josper oven to cook the steaks. With that they have a very very strong smokey flavour that may not appeal to some. I will add each steak arrived to the table lacking appeal. All looked blah and rather dry but that's related to the cook method...as all were okay. Anyways, the smoke flavour is just different and wasn't expected. If they had explained this method we likely would have still tried it - but won't again. We all much prefer the turnout of steaks like those at Ruth's Chris or Elisa. We do recommend Atlas and may go back but would try something other steak. One more thing to mention - people should really recognize the setting and honestly know enough to remove baseball hats. Maybe Atlas management could remind those that are unaware of such things and kindly ask they remove while seated.

    We are returning customers. We have all our birthday dinners, special occasions and our company functions here. However, last nights experience had a couple unexpected disappointments.. The management removed my favourite cocktail, the Bengali Gimlet. This cocktail was a part of the reasons why I became a returning customer and sharing my experience with friends, family and employees. We were also told they will be removing the blue cheese gnocchi off the menu in 2 weeks. This is also one of the reasons why we enjoy Atlas so much. Last night we had “part one” birthday dinner for my daughter. We don’t hold back in terms of what we want to order when we come to Atlas, our bill is normally $300-$500 each time. We were going to come back next week for our “part two” with the other half of our family for her birthday but I don’t think we will return to be disappointed again. We also booked our Christmas Party for December this year. It’s a party of 18. This would be our third year in a row. I’m contemplating on cancelling and finding somewhere else to take my guests. My experience is not the same without the two main reasons why I come to Atlas, the Bengali Gimlet and the blue cheese gnocchi. There are several places in the area where I can get a good steak and mediocre sides & drinks where the bill would be much lower and save us some cash. Management needs to really rethink their decision on this. Some things are not meant to be changed, it can really affect good returning business.

    Exceptional food except there should not be icecream served on top of the creme brule. Staff went above and beyond, food exceptional. Great place for a special nite, also happy hour good value.

    Our server John, was professional and fun. He made our evening very enjoyable. We didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed our time visiting with our family.

    Waitress was wonderful. Piano music too loud. We changed our table because of it. Wifey had the duck and she said it was so-so. Not a lot of flavour. Tenderloin was supurb!

    The first time we dined at this location, the food was amazing and the sides were perfect for sharing. This time we were very disappointed. The sides are definitely smaller, hardly enough to share at all. My husband's steak was not good at all, he had to ask for some kind of sauce for flavour. My friend and I shared a 14 oz, it was supposed to come out med well, more well.....it was very pink . Our server was fantastic, really knows her stuff and suggested a nice wine. Loved her. Not sure we will be back, with the cost of dining out these days, we expect a little better
