Atlantic Grill, located near Lincoln Center, Central Park and Columbus Circle, has reopened with a new look, feel and menu from Monte Carlo Hospitality Group and Michelin-starred Chef Antonio Salvatore. Under their guidance, Atlantic Grill’s refreshed menu aims to please previous regulars and new guests alike.
The restaurant continues to celebrate the freshest seafood from the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, the finest cuts of meat and local seasonal produce with Chef Antonio’s signature Mediterranean flare and nods to dishes and ingredients located in or near other major global bodies of water.
On view is an abundance of fresh fish displayed on ice are showcased through the raw bar or sushi bar selections. An emphasis on a “catch of the day” program affords Chef the opportunity to present the day’s item in various ways including sashimi, ceviche, grilled, and more.

I have literally eaten at Atlantic Grill scores of times, at this location and the other locations they used to have, over the last 30+ years. Used to be a big favorite particularly before they sliced down the menu to the current version. This was the WORST experience, WORST service. We were pre theater - arrived at 6 to sparsely populated restaurant - at 7:00 we still did not have our food (with a 7:30 curtain). Finally got it after complaining and explaining time constraint. Asked for the check with the meal which the waitress did bring but never came to collect payment. First time in my life I left no tip. Found the manager -gave him the cards for payment and complained.

Awful. “Staff” is undertrained and/or wildly inexperienced. Food is mediocre. At best. This restaurant is trading on its location (very close to Lincoln Center) only. Unless there are radical improvements, in every possible way, make it your very last choice in the area. Don’t let this “restaurant” be the start of what will likely be a wonderful experience.

Very Good food. Our server forgot that we ordered wine with our meal. Then we got a late , short pour. Staff seemed over stretched Won’t be back soon. And we live 3 block away. There are better options

After explaining dietary restrictions to the staff and requesting a seemingly simple vegetable substitution we were told that they don’t “substitute”. The simple request was for a side accompaniment of roast potatoes that was on the menu as the accompaniment to a chicken dish. Wouldn’t do it. The head waiter did send a side order of steamed vegetables ultimately. The fish we ordered were over cooked. The wait staff were gracious enough.

The new dish, Lobster Spaghetti, was really delicious and Chianti recommended by the restaurant was perfectly paired with the dish. It my favorite restaurant near Lincoln Center
