This restaurant is truly amazing! The owner adds a personal touch working alongside staff! He offers guest a wArm welcome as though you are walking into his home! The staff are gracious and mimick the leadership of the owner! We especially enjoy Grace, but all staff are engaging and helpful! The food choices add a selection is broad enough for all palettes! Always hot when it's supposed to be and cold when that is the choice! Bringing some unique recipes to the Capital District! The restaurant is clean, and formal with a casual comfortibitty! It is the perfect blend of bar/main dinning room! We have utilized the side room for large family gatherings and have felt as though we're at home, lots of individual attention and privacy,! We look forward to utilizing the larger private/special occasion room upstairs in the near future! So happy this restaurant is close enough to frequently visit!

This was not my first time I have been in that restaurant many other times, but this was the first time where not only our waiter decided to pass our table to another waitress, but the fact that our presence felt like it was an inconvenience. We arrived very early around 7 pm, ordered appetizers that did not arrived altogether - not big deal- we ordered drinks and waited for the rest of the appetizers, but even though we tried to do things in order our new waitress seemed in a rush to take our dinner order and get rid of us. We were having a conversation and she will just pop to ask about our dinner order and I’m sorry we read the menu for drinks and appetizers first we were trying to take it slow and have a conversation but she just kept insisting and after the six time she asked she became annoyed with us We ordered a bottle of wine and pour the entire bottle in one round When we ordered the second bottle not once she approached the table to serve us. By then we ordered dinner dropped the food and away she went until we asked for the check. Again first time this happens o was disappointed since it was the first time there for our guest

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner this week at Athos. The food was great as was our waiter Conor. He was friendly, knowledgable and attentive which made our experience even better.

We spend many birthdays and special occasions at Athos, the service is wonderful . We have been surprised with a complimentary drinks and / or dessert , a very nice and greatly appreciated acknowledgment . Two of us have celiac and feel completely safe eating there .We know they take it seriously and have the largest selection of options for us in the Capital Region . This makes Athos the perfect place for our large family gatherings or a just random night out for a meal .

It had been three years since our last visit to Athos. In the meantime, the restaurant had been sold. The new owners have done a commendable job of maintaining Athos' extraordinary standards. Our favorite soup and entree were as delicious as always. We hope that in a challenging environment, that excellence may be maintained.
