Since the 1960`s, the Triantafillopoulos family, at its restaurants in Athena, Greece and Jacksonville, Florida have worked with top quality materials showing respect for the food itself and the customer.

As of December 2017, their son Yiorgos and his wife Marilena would like to welcome you to a brand new restaurant in the heart of the city, The Athenian Owl.

Reflecting the heritage and the authenticity of Yia-Yia`s (our mother and originator of the first two restaurants) recipes, we add to her wonderful food our passion of representing Greek healthy cuisine at its best.

They did a great job decorating the restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Each table had a small box of complimentary chocolates. They took care of the small details that make a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. One of the reasons we picked this place is because it’s a family restaurant. We had our 2 year old son and the staff made him feel welcome. Thank you for providing the Spider Man coloring pages. He loved it. Food is great as always. Thank you for giving us a great experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was excellent and the food was mostly very good. The spinach under the lamb was way too salty but otherwise all was good.

We like it, good value, but service can be uneven (it felt like we got forgotten after the food delivered, not that we had any issues just waited a long time with finished plates whilst conversating with company)

The food came out quickly, but was cool. The food was just ok. The older woman in charge was abrupt. The younger waitress was efficient. They had a Greek dj. The restaurant was all decorated for NYE.
