First timers went during restaurant week. Everything was perfect. From greeting to service and value. Even the drinks were simple ones but done right. Clam chowda-tender potatoes and plenty of clams, French onion soup-so flavorful!, ribeye and pork chop mains, nice dessert of carrot cake and key lime cheesecake. We will be back!

This is a gem a little further down from the busy section of Newport and totally worth the easy walk. Manager was incredible and service was a delight. Food was excellent at a reasonable price. Would totally go back!

We ate inside in the evening, so didn’t experience The Deck. Inside was comfortable and quiet, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food was wonderful. They had a list of about eight specials, and my husband ordered the fresh swordfish piccata, which he thought was outstanding. He also had the chocolate lava cake, which was delicious. I just wanted a simple chicken breast, which the chef accommodated beautifully, and I ordered the creamed spinach. That was the perfect meal on a long road trip and many days of restaurant food. They even turned the TV to our preferred football game for us! We would definitely eat here again if we are in the area.

We made a last minute to grab dinner in Newport and @TheDeck did not disappoint - attentive service and the food was fantastic- shrimp cocktail was fresh and tasty, swordfish picatta was moist and flavorful, and asparagus was tender and perfectly prepared!

Celebrated my birthday here. I didn’t order dessert so they brought a champagne glass with a shooting star candle in it. It was wonderful service and amazing food! Very nice evening.

Great service, super kind staff, but food was not good. Over fried seafood, weak pokie bowl, pizza had good crust but too much cheese. Was affordable for Newport, but just lacked good flavor.

Had late lunch. Nothing special but service slow and there were no other diners except at the bar. Very disappointed.

Had a wonderful dinner at the establishment. We got a table right by the pier so had a beautiful sunset view. We started with espresso martinis. I ordered the oysters Rockerfeller and my son ordered the ceviche. Both were very fresh and delicious. I was disappointed to see that scallops were not on the menu as the on line menu was different from what we were given. Ken, our waiter was awesome and got me my scallops and risotto. They were truly some of the best scallops I have ever had. My son had the poke bowl. That was tasty as well and so large that he could not finish it. We were too stuffed to have dessert. There was a DJ playing music which was not overly loud so we could converse. Ken was very attentive and we had a nice birthday dinner.
