Located in the lobby of The St. Regis Toronto, Astor Lounge welcomes guests with modern elegance and a relaxed atmosphere. A modern coffee shop during the morning, then transforms itself into a cozy cocktail bar and lounge with our celebratory Champagne Sabrage Ritual at 6:00 pm daily. Afternoon Tea, another iconic St. Regis Ritual, is served daily from 10:30am to 3pm by reservation only on Opentable. Please note that a credit card authorization is required to guarantee a reservation. Our wait staff were polite and attentive and the food was really tasty and impeccably presented. We were seated next to a window, so the view was nice and the seat was comfortable. The room was beautiful and the bathrooms were clean.

The afternoon tea was okay. Wasn't a fan of the sweets, like the savory sandwiches more. Service could've been better. Always had to ask to refill water, forgot the coffee we ordered and our welcome drink.

I have had tea at the St Regis in Toronto before. The main difference this time was the service was less than optimal for the standard of St Regis brand. The good looked good but flavor was lacking. Probably look elsewhere for a tea experience.

Mode was fantastic throughout the whole service. her knowledge of everything she served was top-tier. Her recommendations were great too. I highly recommend the afternoon High Tea.

In general the food was very good especially the savoury vegetarian options that the chef prepared for us ( they were outstanding) ! The scones were nice but the more traditional option of a plain scone with clotted cream would have been great. Even if it was one traditional one and the other one a different flavour. Our server Nancy was excellent and had a great sense of humour which added to a lovely experience. And the Sloane tea was delicious!

the room is right behind the front desk - it is cold in the winter the wind from the front door makes it uncomfortable - there was a fireplace but it blew out. There should be a separate dedicated room. The tea was okay. The vegan options were reasonable - regular options were nice. Service was delayed - not sure if the waitress was late for her shift and other servers were not willing to assist - but we waited for 20 minutes. When she came - she was very good - accommodating. The complimentary prosecco was served in a small glass - wasn't worth it considering the cost of the high tea. I won't go back.

One of the best afternoon teas I’ve been to! The servers were absolutely amazing and very understanding about a last minute cancellation to our party. The food was incredible and the ambience was so cozy and warm (loved sitting beside the fireplace). We will 100% be back again. We were also given a tea sample to bring home which I’ve never had anywhere else 😊.

Service not professional at all. Food selection wasn’t good. Very poor choice. Scones were very hard. Tea selection was limited. I asked for milk and never got it. One person was allergic to shellfish. So instead of making for him another type of sandwich they just doubled down on the same one. The value for the money is not worth it. Very expensive. We will never come back.

Me and my wife visited on Feb 18 for a Hi Tea. Ambience is normal, it doesn't appeal like sitting in a 4* hotel. Ambience is average, food was just average. It was not fresh and even scones were cold. The seating was very bad and Chairs are very poorly designed it gave me a back pain. And it is NOT value for money after spending $250. Staff was not as professional and experienced to serve Hi Tea. It was like students or new immigrants on training. I would NOT recommend to anyone going there for Hi Tea.
