From Bradfield Brewery's Blonde Fish & Chips to Steak Pie, or Butternut Squash Risotto. For sweet lovers we've got all the bases covered from Sticky Toffee Pudding to Lemon Posset. Why not pair your dinner with a cocktail? Only available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

First time at the schoolrooms celebrating a birthday. The food was lovely although disappointed that the veggie Sunday roast doesn’t come with roast potatoes or Yorkshire puddings (they are cooked in fat). And even though these items are missing, the veggie dinner is still priced the same as the meat dinners. Even with them I think it should be fairer priced - £17 seems steep. Apart from this the service was good and it is great that we could bring the dog in, although the atmosphere is not quite the same as in the main restaurant. We will return dog free another time to try the main menu :) Thanks!

We had a really lovely meal yesterday evening. I’d not had French Onion soup for years, so it good to find it on the menu. My wife and I both had the steak and ale pie, which was perfect. Lots of succulent meat and tasty gravy. My wife’s lemon posset was also excellent and the bottle of red wine we had reasonably priced. The service was also good. The only very minor criticism was that we were seated next to a party of 6 who were a little noisy. All in all, we were very pleased with our evening.

Date night meal. Friendly and welcoming service. Nice selection on the menu for both food and drinks. Food nicely prepared and presented. Tasted great. Ambience really nice. Great location for a pre meal walk too.

Food was fine not value for the money schoolrooms is comfortable place the one think that none of our party didn’t agreed with was the service charge it was put on the bill with out our acceptance we would have liked to pay what we thought as it was only fish and chips so sorry we wouldn’t come back
