Assaggini Wine Bar & Restaurant: translating to 'small tastings' in Italian and in true form our menu celebrates modern Italian dining in a contemporary, intimate setting just off Main St, Mornington.

Our menu has a focus on homemade pasta, fresh local produce and is matched with our extensive wine and cocktail list featuring vino from vineyards near and far. If wine is not your thing, choose from our exciting cocktail list of favourites and ones you've just go to try!

Assaggini also has a dedicated plant based menu suitable for vegetarian & vegan guests.

Comfortable atmosphere. Our host Craig, was very cordial and knowledgeable. Great and attentive service with good food. The highlight was the squid ink linguine which was a tasty and generous serve. Would like to see a more extensive menu however that is just my personal preference. Will definitely be returning.

We have been many times to Assaggini and it was our favourite place but the price has gone up alot and the food portion size has halved. It’s such a shame as it’s a nice place but we won’t be back.

It was a lovely restaurant and the food was very nice, especially that we cone from an Italian background. The staff were friendly but a little slow on taking orders however, everything came out correct and it was no big deal. We will definitely go back again
