Busy evening, but with the upstairs now open the service team looked overwhelmed. We had to ask three times to even place our food order - which was eventually done 45 minutes after sitting down. When we ordered water for the table it also took an awfully long time. Food itself came promptly, a bit average to be honest. The chicken wings were not good - 3 of the party had them and everyone left at least one wing un-eaten. It was a shame as previous experiences have been better.

Excellent as usual. Visit to celebrate my son’s graduation. Great food excellent drinks especially the Cisk and 2 cocktails for £12. Wonderful Ascott’s team created a congratulations cake, brilliant.

Visited Ascott's for their 5th Anniversary and it was fantastic! There was the usual excellent food and service, but accompanied by great DJ/Saxophonist/Guitarist combo playing live music. It was a really great atmosphere. Food and service was excellent as always.

We sat by a speaker which was loud and a couple who came in wanted the Olympics on which was on a TV next to my right ear. The whole place was deserted and we could have been placed well away from both. The burgers and fries were outstanding and the staff were all polite and attentive. It’s a nice interior and I would go back but a little more thought about noise and where to sit people when it’s quiet would make it perfect.
